This was a much needed vacation to process and prepare for the next 6-12 months. The beach was so beautiful and crystal clear, we could see the fish swimming around us. The staff at Sandals made every effort, at every turn, to accommodate our meal requirements. They went above and beyond. Gary at the loyalty and travel desk was amazing, even came down to the beach to look for us. Kimmony( not sure if it's spelled correct) from the entertainment staff was awesome. Showed my husband and I much love everytime he saw us. Even though I can't remember everyone's name, everyone was great. I'm already planing my return. Can't wait!!

Hotel's Favourite
We recently spent 10 days at Sandals Grenada on our honeymoon. Wow - the staff is truly incredible! The service was out of this world - every person we encountered just seemed to genuinely love their job. The location is so beautiful it’s like a postcard came to life. The food, the entertainment - everything was top notch. We stayed in a butler suite - totally worth the money! The only downfall.. we ended up spending a ton of money on professional pictures because they caught so many amazing moments on camera and we just had to have all of the photos lol!

My husband and I went here for a few days in June....Great resort! The food, the entertainment were excellent. My husband dives and really enjoyed the diving. The pools are also really nice and the party pool is super fun if you enjoy that sort of thing. Our room was a Pin Oceanfront Honeymoon room and honestly I was a little disappointed with the balcony.....I enjoy having coffee in the am and a drink before dinner so if I went back, I would try to get a room with a bigger balcony. Other than that, we enjoyed everything about it!

We absolutely loved our time at Sandals Grenada! My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and we cannot say enough positive things about it. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly (especially our server Nolyn!) , and the island is gorgeous! We loved our view and location at the Pink Gin Village. We really utilized the yard games and had no problems getting a spot with shade on the beach or a spot at the pool EVER. The water was clear and beautiful. We really enjoyed our excursion off the island tot he nearby rainforest and waterfall. Our tour guide was so informative and friendly! The staff members we cannot appreciate enough were the folks in the Aqua Sports area. Tyrone, our scuba instructor was patient and friendly. After we lost our GoPro in the ocean during a snorkeling trip (my husband forgot it was on his head when he took his gear off and didn't realize until we got back from the boat ride), Tyrone asked Ed, Cameron, and Ken to take us out to look for it. They went above and beyond and FOUND IT in the middle of the ocean, allowing us to have the priceless footage that was on there. Stevon took us out on the hobie cat and taught us a lot about the island. The managers Boota and Anne Marie were super helpful and so was our other scuba instructor, Jermaine. We really felt like those staff members in particular went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We cannot recommend this resort enough!

Not as advertised. Beach is NOT white sand. It's a mixture of brown and black gritty sand. There is a substantial drop off to get in and out of the water. Beach chairs are hard plastic - not comfortable. Beach towels are worn and thin. Some of the chairs are on a slope which makes it uncomfortable to sit or lay. Pools are not very pretty - nothing special. They look old and worn. Service in all the restaurants with the exception of Butch's was terrible. Long wait times to receive any service. The food was okay, but nothing special. The bars ran out of liquor such as Bailey's, Grand Marnier, Tequila Mix. One guest asked for a Yellowbird cocktail and the bartender told her that she didn't like that drink and would not make it for her. Outrageous!!! Service in the room was moderate. We had to ask for handtowels and wash cloths almost every day. We asked for ice in the room and were told that it would be delivered each day at 3:00 p.m. but only received it one day. The resort grounds and buildings were beautiful; but we would never return there for the reasons explained above. Had never been to a Sandals resort and we were expecting much more than we received. Spending $1,000 per day should not have to encounter the issues we encountered. Because of these issues, we would never book another Sandals vacation

Thank you for taking the time to share your review of Sandals Grenada. It was surprising to read your review, indicating that you did not enjoy your time with us. It is our earnest belief that our advertising is an accurate and true representation of our resort, and Pink Gin beach is not marketed as white sand, since it is a partially volcanic black sand beach, as are many of the beaches to the extreme south of the island. We regret if any misinformation or misunderstanding may have negatively affected your expectations. We respect the opinions you have expressed and recognize that one person’s specific experience can only be judged by that individual. Your comments regarding the general service have since been shared with our management team for consideration, as most of the changes we make are as a result of the feedback received from our guests. We regret that your experience was not more in line with your expectations and that your concerns were shared via the Loop, as our team would have been happy to ensure that corrective measures were immediately deployed. Nevertheless, we hope that in time, you will reconsider your position as we would appreciate the opportunity to host you again at any of our resorts for stay that we trust will be more in line with your expectations.

Everything about the Sandals experience was excellent, the only complaint I really have was the excursions. I feel with the excursions they fell short. They should’ve told you that when you go on a private excursion you’re responsible for fees. They should’ve told you some of the excursions or all of the excursions didn’t have guided tours that was another downfall.

We stayed here for two weeks in September 2021 for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport, if that. The plane noise from the airport was minimal and didn't disturb us. We had a really great stay and all of the staff were very friendly, especially Boota at the water sports. We went on a boat trip of the coastline, hired a hobie and kayak and went snorkelling several times. Upon check in we asked if there were any rooms available with a bath, which we were advised there were in a couple of days. When this was available we switched rooms. We were based in the Pink Gin Beachfront section, which was really handy for the beach. The room was a good size. Whilst having the bath was excellent, it was a little strange being in it on a shared terrace with some other rooms, albeit separated with a curtain. There were also a couple of occasions when a gardener would appear from the side of the room blowing leaves. Fortunately this didn't happen whilst I was in the bath. Just a couple of negative, as we travelled in September, the country was more or less in lockdown. We paid for our COVID tests and ministry of health paperwork that was required for entry. We were only told by another holiday maker at the hotel that the cost of these could be re-couped from reception, it would have been nice to have been told this by the hotel. When we got our money back, we put it towards a massage, which without this discount, would have been very expensive. The fact there was premium wi-fi cost seemed a bit over the top. The general wi-fi was fine. The fact that not all of the restaurants were available for lunch was a little frustrating and not always open every evening. We ate at every restaurant during out stay. Our favourites were, Soy, the sushi one -- which would have been nice at lunch and Butch's, which we ate at a couple of times. That was fantastic. The worst bit about the hotel was the reserving of sunbeds -- this may have changed now. Due to being on English time we were generally up early in the mornings, which was fortunate. If you hadn't saved a sunbed by about 08.00, you wouldn't have much choice of where to lay after breakfast. We went to the beach for sunrise a couple of times and there were Butlers out reserving sunbeds for people that early on. The South beach pool was more of a party atmosphere, with music and games throughout the day, the Pink Gin pool was nice and quiet as was the beach. Overall we had a great two weeks here. All of the food, drink and staff were great. It was a shame we couldn't leave the hotel as we were keen to explore the rest of the island, we'll just have to return another time. We would probably stay somewhere else though.

The staff at Sandals was amazing. From Richie at check-in to the best Butler’s Brent & Neron. The dive shop staff Travis and Tyrone took the apprehensive new-be and had me comfortable and squared away by day two. Sean our boat captain was great about getting replacement gear out when needed and giving me advice on where to eat out in town. I still have a lot to learn and am looking forward to coming back next year. Mr Boota has a top notch crew. Nolyn at Soy was a sweetheart and Laura at Cucina Romana was too funny both ladies know their stuff. Our tour driver (forgot his name) was a retired Grenada police officer that new all the ins and outs of the island. He knew everyone and was very knowledgeable on the history of the area. I know I have missed some but everyone we met were wonderful
