Found these bungalows while cycling round island,so I booked a room for 2 nights....room is basic,(but this is laos what do you expect,)just a bed and mossie net with hammocks on the balcony,I had a good nights sleep...the lady that runs the place was present...More
Very basic, just a bed (with anti mosquito net) and a fan, and two hammocks on the balcony, facing the river. I think it's more than enough at a place like Don Det.

-Fan in the room
I stayed here for a week. It's nothing super fantastic. Just a bed with a fan. There were no food options while I was there so had to go elsewhere for food.
You get what you pay for. $5 for a bungaloo. Nothing fancy.

Owners have a strange little thing going on which is amusing to watch if you're here for a few days, which you should be. They're friendly and helpful, but most of all personable because of it.
