We can recomnend Agroturismo Guidici - Tenuta Vico Moricino as an exellent place to stay with a family. We did enjoy the hotel in the begining of May , 2022, but we are familiar with the place since 2017 (since then we are regular guests each year in the spring). Always super friendly people, professional staff with a perfect restaurant with local cuisine and superior vine list. Will come back again! Soon. Igor&Tatiana + kids Kyiv, Ukraine
During a recent trip to Italy our family had the opportunity to spend 4 nights at the Tenuta di Vico Moricino. The hotel is one of a kind – the estate dating from ~1000 AD has been carefully renovated, allowing it to be modernized while preserving its charm and historical features. Each room in the hotel is different and has its own unique character catering to groups of different sizes. The owners, Claudio and Simona, are very gracious hosts. The personal touches they provide are what truly sets this hotel apart. The days start off right with a delicious continental breakfast in the beautiful dining room. For larger meals there is an excellent farm to table restaurant on the property serving lunch and dinner complete with local cheeses, homemade pastas, grilled meats, vegetables and assorted antipasti. Finally – Anagni itself is an interesting town with friendly and welcoming people. It is walkable, with a small-town feel combined with a vibrant center with historical sites, churches, and many local restaurants. If you are in the Rome area and want to see another side of Italy – it is worth your consideration. For us, it was our favorite part of our trip.…
Unbelievable holidays at Tenuta de Vico Moricino! This place became a second home for us, and dear Simona and Claudio - the part of the family. We had a great time, enjoying your hospitality. Thank you for the cozy apartment, delicious food and warmest memories!
On a hilltop 10 minutes from the pretty town Anagni is the beautiful Tenuta de Vico Moricino. An old farmbuilding that is partially rebuilt & refurbished in style , now a B&B (and much more) where one feels immediately at home. Very friendly and helpful owners Claudio & Simona are great hosts, they will give you lots of tips for sightseeing, and serve a lovely breakfast buffet (great cappuccinos! ) We stayed for a week and most nights we had dinner at their restaurant which is either a 10 minute walk (through the wood, so no street lights!) or a less adventurous 5 minutes by car :-) The ristorante is a nice family restaurant that serves fine traditonal dishes with a lovely red wine (of which I forgot the name .. ) This part of Lazio has best of both worlds: between mountains and sea, and as a bonus you can go by train to Rome if you want.…
Ancient countryside granary which has been renovated with elegance and exquisite taste in every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces. Even if It is situated in the countryside over a hill, it is conveniently located near the motorway exit connecting Rome to Naples, close to the charming historical town of Anagni. The hosts, Simona and Claudio, are passionate about their work and very kind. The breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room with local products and homemade cakes. The hosts run also a very good restaurant which is located nearby.
