I had to work in Anagni earlier this year and my employers booked me into this B&B and I'm so glad they did! After weeks of rushing around non-stop and a hectic time in Rome, I was transfixed by the beautiful room I was presented with and the separate charming balcony for my use, overlooking the valley and hills. This B&B is not remote though. It is ideally-placed on a charming small street in Anagni, near the marketplace. There are cafes, bars and restaurants nearby and the streets feel very safe and relaxed to wander around in at night. (The B&B too feels very safe and secure). The decor here is lovely with an eye for detail. Every single thing in the room was beautiful, as you might expect to find in an expensive boutique hotel. Imagine my surprise then at finding all of this in a reasonably-priced B&B! Breakfast is with a voucher at a friendly bar nearby but with the fridge and kettle provided in my room and a small supermarket nearby, I preferred to have my own tranquil breakfast on the balcony, gazing at the heavenly view. My stay here was deeply relaxing. And I was looked after so well by Enzo and his wife (the owners who live nearby). They were so kind, friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommend this stunning B&B and these lovely people. My stay here was blissful!…
I visited Anagni to see my son and we stayed in the Il Viaggiatore apartment. The accommodations were excellent, the kitchen was very helpful, and the owner was fantastic. Enzo was super helpful and made our stay much easier. I still cannot believe how charming the town of Anagni is and how well we were able to make our way around it despite the language barrier. If I go back to Anagni, I will be booking one of the Il Viaggiatore properties, and I will recommend them to friends and family.
The service and the location was AWESOME. Stay for week and the service and feeling of being right at home was amazing. I would recommend to time and time again to friends and famili. I would definitely stay again. The town is full of wonderful people.
This B&B is very cute. The rooms have different colors. The owner is a very very lovely, sweet and helpful lady. Beds are really good. Room was spot lean. Breakfast was served in a cafe 30 meters further down the street, this was a disappointment. Croissants were old and coffee was ok, but not great.
My wife and I stayed in La Stanza del Principe on the top floor of the B&B for three nights. We loved Anagni. Roberta and Enzo were very helpful. They offered to pick us up at the train station (about 5 miles outside of town), but we just bought bus tickets for .80 Euro and followed Roberta's directions to get to the B&B. It was easy, but we accepted their offer of a ride on the way back. The B&B is only 2 years old, and everything is immaculately clean and beautiful. I was worried because my wife is a light sleeper and the room had a window on the main street, but it was very quiet. There is hardly any traffic, and the windows are thick and block most noise. The breakfast was at a little cafe about 2 blocks away. It was good but basic (a pastry and a coffee or fresh squeezed juice) . We had caffelattes, macchiato, or spremuta d'arancia. I recommend getting the third floor room (la Stanza del Principe, I think), because it has a nice little terrace for sitting out and eating or resting. I think the other rooms have access to it too, but it felt like "ours". Roberta and Enzo speak French and Spanish, and only enough English to communicate the basics. Fortunately, our Italian and Spanish skills were good enough. For me a major draw of Anagni was that it is not full of tourists, had authentic Italian life, and I could practice my Italian. Anagni was a beautiful place to be, and Il Viaggiatore was perfect.…
