The property is not as grand as it looks. Rather tired. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The standard rooms are small. You could hear a mouse squeak in the adjoining rooms. The proximity to the Channel tunnel is a plus point as well as the fact that in the village you can refuel at local supermarkets. The hotel restaurant...

When I signed in I was offered a blanket for my dog which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. There were some language issues however the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an excellent situation and is perfect for anyone who is looking for a stop close to the channel crossings. It is just a short walk...

The building looks fabulous on pictures, is near several beautiful villages along the Cote d'Opale (Wissant, Wimereux), is in the countryside, is inexpensive and accepts dogs, and all of these criteria determined my choice. You need a car because it is in the middle of nowhere, and you need to arrive during day time (reception is closed overnight). I had...

This is a training facility for the hospitality industry. The historic building itself is imposing but the rooms are small and not very well equipped. Single bed only in mine. Instant coffee at breakfast (which isn't free) That said, it was very cheap. Bear in mind that there is no after hours reception (night guard only) and that it is...

The hotel has a very rustic charm. I was personally very happy with it. Our dog was treated as welcome as we were and for me that is a winner always. We ate in the restaurant for our dinner and the portion sizes were large. Starter was a vol au vent, yum, main the chicken in a white wine sauce,...

I stayed at this hotel on the 28th of August to split my journey home from France, First impression when you drive through the gateway are that the place looks derelict, apart from its grand façade, I had driven seven and a half hours prior to arrival and arrived at just after 6pm only to be told that the restaurant...

We stayed here to break up our journey through France. We received a warm welcome at reception and to be fair we didn't have high expectations given the price. The rooms were extremely small, you couldn't pass each other easily; the bathrooms were functional and again very small. The decor is quite 'out there' but that didn't bother us given...

Huge mistake booking a night here instead of one of the larger corporation hotels near the tunnel. Unhelpful reception staff, the most disgusting smelling room and a general lack of personality. Hotel needs a good clean, some organisation and staff training. 10euros each for the breakfast on offer was a disgrace - no bread, no milk, no coffee and not...

We booked this as an alternative to our regular F1 on the way to the Eurotunnel - what a find! The façade is lovely and the welcome warm. The Privilege triple room was perfect for us - a double room for my partner and I and another adjoining single for our daughter plus a huge shower room. The beds were...

Booked for one night prior to early Eurotunnel travel. Difficult to locate but set in nice grounds and with imposing entrance facade. Behind the entrance building (the chateau) the feeling is more like a government building! Rooms of reasonable size and equipment. Unfortunately bathrooms seem to rely on saniflo units which in one room resulted in very slow drainage of...
