We have usually stayed in St Omer on our return trip from France, but this time I wanted something different. I found Hostellerie Saint Louis on Trip Advisor, and from now on, if we visit France again, this will be where I would want to stay. It was very conveneint for us to get to the Tunnel the following day....

WOW!!!! What a place, truly wonderful. My brother & I had just completed our motorbike tour of Europe and we were on our way home to the UK, we needed an extra night before our return trip. When we arrived, we thought OMG, they aren't going to like the biking fraternity here.........how wrong was I, the welcome was warm and...

Ideal stop off for people travelling from the UK via Calais. We were visiting the First World War memorials in northern Belgium and stayed over night here. A perfect spot for exploring the area. Beautiful food and lovely comfortable rooms.

We went there to celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversary and stayed over night in a lovely room Poitou which was large and comfortable and very helpful for me with grab rails in the shower as I have had back surgery and have to be careful I don't slip. The staff are welcoming and very friendly and helpful and Bea and...

Friendly, but effortlessly chic hospitality. Phenomenal food. French cuisine at its best with an unintimidating atmosphere. If the restaurant were in London the prices would be at least tripled, and the service would not be as good!

Beautiful hotel with exceptional owners and staff - all speak English of a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Comfortable rooms and very comfortable bed. Good facilities and great TV reception! But the stand out is the quality of the food. One of the most outstanding meals I have had, topped off by a lovely breakfast. They...

The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming, but the restaurant is the main reason that we have stayed in this hotel several times in recent years. The choice of dishes is excellent and the service and presentation is superb.

We stayed here one night on our way back to the UK. We have been here before and always knew we would return - for the food especially. We were put in the 'Vendee' room which was on the ground floor. A very large room with good seating area, huge bed and brilliant bathroom. I could have stayed under the...

Mde et M are very welcoming and have worked hard to ensure that their guests are happy and satisfied. The food is excellent and good value whether you take the " surprise" menu or the up market. If you stay 2 nights ask for the special deal to include breakfast and even meal.

My niece and I had 2 overnight stays at this charming family run hotel. The first was on Monday 26th September which coincided with their Monday night special menu. Wow! What a wonderful meal! Exquisitely presented AND delicious - not simply a picture on a plate! Breakfast the following morning was also very good. We stayed on Sunday 16 October...
