Absolutely nice place, perfect for staying in Barcelona. Comfortable, clean, warm, professional! Pretty big room with sofa, fantastic bed (be careful, it's easy to sleep longer than usual), tasty breakfast, free parking. But what I like the best is the atmosphere and the team. Absolutely professional personnel! Very pleasant! And special thank to Cristina Alvarez! She did her best to answer all my questions (sorry, Cristina, probably I am not the best guest, too much asking) and help us. She is really professional. So, highly recommend, big thank to everyone for everything, hope to be back next time! P.S. And very very tasty chocolate candies at the reception.
We were allowed to stay in this recently opened hotel for 5 nights. In that time we had nothing to complain about. It delivered everything you would expect from a 4* Holiday Inn. The rooms are nicely designed, a pleasant size and clean. There is a bar right next to the lobby that offers drinks for fair prices. You can also eat in the restaurant throughout the day. The gym is small but adequately equipped, only a rowing machine would be nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. However, you have to know that the hotel is located in an industrial area. The nearest train station to Barcelona is about 1.5 km away. There is a shopping centre with shops, a supermarket and some restaurants about 500 metres from the hotel.
Just spent a night at the new Holiday Inn Sant Cugat (the old one is now a Holiday Inn Express), and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh clean look overall. Haven't staid in a Holiday Inn since the 1970s and things have changed for the better, hahaha! This was very clean, brand new in pleasant mixtures of grey, green and light oak wood. Comfy bed, functioning AC (which is NOT a given in Spain!!!!), decent room service/restaurant service, fantastic shower and clean bathroom, so no complaints (other than the parents across the hall who couldn't keep their kid from running screaming up and down the corridor... but hey, that's a whole different review... ;-). Definitely recommended for business and family travel - but note - ONLY if you have a car because it is not located close to public transport, restaurants or anything of interest in Sant Cugat itself, other than perhaps the shopping center....…
The hotels brand-new just opened in June 2022 located near a mall rooms are kind of small for my taste I didn’t like the hardwood Floors I liked the USB ports near the sockets You need a car to get access to the hotel plenty of parking space for your car and it’s free breakfast was nice rooms were quiet and the staff were very nice and friendly I wish if they provided slippers and toothbrush
