The pictures represent this hotel well: a bit worn down and shabby, needs some decoration but overall it is charming and friendly. It does the basics well: comfortable beds, decent air-con, old charm, decent shower. Plunge pool and nice terrace up top. The breakfast is typical but basic spanish: pan (from a non-artisan baker) y tomate (from a small sealed...

A really charming hotel, located at the foot of the upper town, close to the markets. The roof garden, with spotless swimming pool, is a delight and the other courtyards with fountains beautiful. The rooms were large, with external windows. The beds could be better, there was no fridge and the bathrooms were very cramped, but the general feeling was...

Lovely traditional Spanish Property, very relaxed, very friendly, very pretty! I stayed on my own here for a week to visit friends and felt completely safe at all times. The rooms on the top floor by the Roof terrace are fabulous, a little dated but very clean and extremely spacious, good showers, fantastic air con, each apartment has its own...

Liked this little hotel and it is very reasonably priced. Room was comfortable and clean. BEST shower in our entire trip of Spain. Pretty little courtyard. Good location. Worst breakfast available to purchase (not included) - I would advise going somewhere else for breakfast.

We stayed in room 205, a nice big room with a double and a single bed and a bath. It is next to the pool so might get noisy in the summer. Our main gripe though is that we chose this hotel because it claimed to have wifi, but neither one of us could get a signal at all on...

I loved this hotel as it is just so Spanish. Our room was at the end of a line of rooms at either side of the roof, from which you can lok down into the courtyard. I could sit outside my room and sip a brandy whilst reading my book. I also strolled across to the swimming pool, which isn't...

Perfect location - at 3 minutes Plaza del Caildo, and of Casa Balbino, where you get the most exquisite tapas in Spain. Confortable rooms; relaxing terrace with a small swimming pool sun bathed the most part of the day. Very, very nice hotel!

Los Helechos, is a traditional, Spanish courtyard hotel, situated in the lower part of Sanlucar a short walk from the busy Plazas San Roque and del Cabildo. It has a small swimming pool on the open 2nd floor terrace, a lift, a cafe and dining room and underground garage (free, if space available). We stayed on the second floor in...

Very clean and comfortable, but basic hotel. Reception staff were split, some friendly, so not so, but overall, a very enjoyable stay. A visit to the castle is a must, but if walking beware some of the roads are quite steep, although it is only a 15 min walk.
