We stayed a week in August at this property, which we highly recommend.
First of all, this Pension is pet friendly, with a correct dog rate supplement, thank you, which is still relatively rare (many hotels refuse them or else, they murder you in terms of dog rate supplement to discourage you from bringing it). It was important for us to be able to stay there with our dog, especially in this department surrounded by mountains, suitable for walks and hikes.
The room was quiet, modern, good size, and clean (the Pension has been renovated and it shows).
Friendliness and professionalism of the staff, especially the manager and his daughter, excellent cuisine, sought after, varied and hearty, homemade with local products by a chef master restaurateur (guarantee of quality and real homemade). Same for the very varied and qualitative Breakfast.
In addition, presence of a spa with pleasant massages offered.
We are delighted with our stay and will definitely come back as soon as we can, thank you, do not change anything 🙂!

Very pleasant welcome, charming hotel that plunges us into the universe of the region.
Despite an early departure (before 07h), I was able to have a breakfast tray with a large choice possible.
I couldn't enjoy the spa this time but I hope to do it next time!

We booked a spa aperitif service. The welcome of the restaurant leaves something to be desired, a smile would not have been too much. We received no explanation as to how our afternoon took place and how the spa/hamman/sauna worked. Please note that if you order 2 aperitif-spa packages you will receive a board “for 2” (very light quantity but good products). This Friday no possibility of having an à la carte dish. We reached the spa hungry. Another disappointment, the swimming pool was out of service that day.

This traditional hotel is very well located near Lake Serre-Ponçon and hiking in the Baratier area. Its qualities are the calm, the restaurant, the beautiful swimming pool, including sauna, hammam and whirlpool, garden. However, the service is sometimes somewhat overwhelmed.
The rooms are rather simple and small, but well equipped.
But…
We had booked a triple room, supposedly with a double bed and a single bed (this type of room actually exists), but we were directed to a room whose single bed was only an extra bed, type Click-clack, not very comfortable. Be careful when booking! In addition, the toilet flushing proved to be deficient during the duration of the stay.

Very pleasant place whether it is the dining room with its beautiful fireplace, the spa or even the room. Dinner was very good, breakfast plentiful with homemade brioche and squeezed orange juice. We will come back with pleasure.

A very pleasant hotel in all aspects
Well located, well equipped (nice swimming pool in summer, spa, ski locker and beauty massages for those who want it)
Comfortable, quiet and clean room
Attentive staff and owner, very smiling, discreet and helpful
And above all a very beautiful table for breakfast and dinner! .. lots of quality fresh and local products and real delicacy on the plate in terms of cooking and flavors! Well done!
A great pleasure to discover and share! Beautiful address!

Very disappointing stay. Staff was rude. Room adequate but no mini fridge in the room. Very rude notices all over the breakfast room saying not to take any extra food with you.
Dinner at the hotel was OK but took 3 hours. Many other tables left early because they couldn’t wait longer for dessert. Charged for use of sauna as well as to have a bathrobe.
I cannot believe this hotel has such good reviews we were disgusted.

Dear Sir or Madam, We are very sorry for that but In order to understand what happened to you , I need to know who you are and at which date you stayed in our hotel. Otherwise we cannot improve ourselves. It is also a pity that you did not say that to us when you left the hotel. So let me know Best regards

Fifth stay at this Inn and always perfect. Even more so, the quality and quantity of catering has improved. We are never disappointed and return gladly for the Pension , its employees , a big thank you to Péma very serious and very competent. All the staff do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In a good atmosphere , and with a friendly direction thank you Mrs and Mr Bellot. Finally let's not forget the beautiful region that we never tire of. Good holidays assured.

We had to cancel the Reservation due to illness.
We were harassed to make the cancellation very quickly so we could rebook the room, 3 calls, 2 emails.. The Pension Manager paid us half back and said we should be happy to get half back already. It's not a shopkeeper. And the welcome is unpleasant.
So to avoid.
