We visited with our two kids aged 3, and 6. We had a lovely two night stay. Yummy food and breakfast, comfy beds and big rooms, a really fun and interesting treasure hunt and cooking class. Our kids enjoyed playing with the kids at the lodge and staff were ready to help with tuk tuk to the pony club for sunset etc. little eco lodge really made our stay in Myanmar. Thank you so much! This one of the most awesome accommodations I’ve been. Comfy beds, clean rooms, delicious food made from their home-grown veggies. Heavenly massages and tailormade trips (hiking, horse-riding, boattrips, bike-riding: we did it all). The super friendly personnel makes it all even better. Grateful we found this little hotel 😇

I just left Little Eco Lodge and am already longing for my return!!! This gem of a hotel in the Inle Lake area is run by one extremely impressive individual by the name of Kyaw Swar. He has created an enchanting “destination hotel” artfully constructed of gorgeous bamboo that is pulsing with an air of relaxation. He and his staff have an eye for design and a heart for his home of the Myanmar Shan state. The dining house is a breathtaking bamboo treehouse structure, with low tables and lounge-like atmosphere, including a secluded and romantic top floor with an electric view of the night sky. We wisely chose the home style cooking offered by the staff, and were not disappointed!! The freshly juiced avocado was amazing, and every detail is covered with a personal touch, right down to the plush blankets provided for the cool evenings. Swar has the welcoming persona of a long-lost relative, crossed with the charming hospitality of a well-experienced host in the tourism industry. Seemingly omnipresent, he pops up everywhere with equal parts relentlessly hard-working and effortlessly relaxed. You might find him tending one of the large fields on the Lodge’s property from which their farm-to-table meals are partly supplied. He may be lounging in the bamboo treehouse at one of the reclining tables getting to know his guests, casting his “zen spell” on all who listen to his near-perfect English. Or you might find him at a loom in the open air workspace beneath the guest house, engaged in a hands-on weaving lesson. The luxurious room, the flavorful food, the “mi casa es su casa” culture of A Little Eco Lodge makes this hotel so much more than a luxury oasis...it is a home-away-from-home vacation destination. And I cannot wait to return!!! No, I received no incentives for writing this review!

we went for dinner at the treehouse restaurant and were just in awe of how incredible the structure is. then the food! had a tamarind fish curry, a chicken curry, morning glory, some type of butter bean, and rice and soup and it was so so so yummy. my 2 daughters aged 8 and 11 ate up every bite. so grateful to have had this experience. just be a little careful climbing around the treehouse! watch your footing if u are taking selfies!

· Great organic garden all around the lodge with great-smelling gardenias and tasty fruits, veggies and herbs that we got to eat for dinner in the Treehouse restaurant and for breakfast the next day. I liked the AC option since we wanted to keep the windows shut at night due to my history of Dengue fever. Didn't see any mosquitos but wanted to be on the safe side. Staff was superfriendly and loved the family-run approach. I loved the fact the older women were weaving in one building and we could see the outdoor kitchen where the food was produced. One of the owners showed us what ever we asked, like what a tamarind tree looked like. Very comfy, firm bed which was good for my husband's back. When they learned it was our 25th wedding anniversary, they bought us a cake as a surprise! It's just outside of town so I got to run on a beautiful road heading up into the hills with beautiful scenergy, 2 monasteries, a coffee restaurant and much safer run with few vehicles than if I'd been staying in Nyaung Schwe, the town.
