#2 of 55 B&Bs / Inns in Nyaungshwe
A place not too far nor too close with downtown. A very quiet place to stay in. And we can arrange boat trips to Inlay Lake.

The location is very quiet unlike staying closer to the lake you will hear the noise from the boats all day. The bed is very big and comfortable. We checked in at 5am in the morning and the owner only charged us one night price which is very nice! The breakfast is also good with fresh avocado and banana pancake. It is not luxurious but it's cute and comfortable.

Ok. If you’re expecting the Taj Mahal then you’re probably setting yourself up for some pretty major disappointment. That said for the price bracket you will be hard pressed to find anything comparative to the charm and comfort of Zawgi. Upon arrival we were expected, did not need to identify ourselves and despite being well before check in time our room was ready and we were able to check in. The rooms are large and beds are very firm with comfortable pillows. There is no fridge or tv but we don’t use either of those travelling so didn’t see the bother. Each room has a deck with low slung bamboo chairs ideal for perusing the Lonely Planet or Burmese Days. Eclectically potted plants add to the ambiance. We had laundry done and it was 2000k and ready the next day. The owner is super funny in the way only people who slightly less convivial are when they decide to share a pearl of wisdom. Breakfast is the best I’ve had in Myanmar. Coffee was hot and an entire pot delivered to my table, fresh fruits, choice of banana or plain pancake, eggs and toast all included. The location is an easy walk to the boats or to KKO where you can hire a very well serviced Trek Mt Bike to explore further afield. We would definitely stay again without hesitation and left rather reluctantly after JJ buses refused to change our ticket so we could stay another night!

We loved our stay at Zwagi Inn. The atmosphere with all the plants is great, the hosts were super friendly and attentive to all our needs. The room was also clean, spacious and we felt very comfortable here :) Another important point is the amazing breakfast (that you can enjoy on a cute table under a big tree) - it consisted of plenty fruits, egg with toast, a pancake, tea and coffee (and one day even an avocado :)) We can recommend 100%
