This property is located about 3 Km from Château de Chenonceau. The rooms were a bit small, but clean. The down side is there was no air conditioning. Since we were there in mid-July, we slept with the table fan on and the window open. Our room was overlooking the road and the railroad tracks were across this road. There... More

Nice little hotel. A short walk from the river, friendly staff & parking at rear of hotel. Good food also. We were here with our 3 children, (10, 7 & 5) we were given connecting rooms on the first floor, connected by a bathroom. Very clean facilitators.

Great location, very helpful staff, friendly. Rooms were very well kept. Parking is secure and ample. Quiet. Very convenient location for visiting the chateaux. There are a number of good restaurants a short drive away. Obey the speed limits, we met a check-stop on the main road.

Small hotel with immaculately clean, moderately-sized rooms. Adequate but uninspiring decor. Secure bike parking. Excellent and reasonable cost breakfast; the pain perdu is delicious. A short and easy bike ride from Chateau Chenonceau.

Very friendly welcome, very good value and 15 mins or so walk to the castle. We stayed for two nights and it was a good base for cycling in this area and there is covered cycling parking available. They were so nice to us even though we spoke very, very little french!

Nice comfortable room for our 1 night stay. Good parking area. This is located close to the Chateau de Chenonceau which should not be missed! As it threatened to rain, we walk around and drove to our restaurant instead. We did not try breakfas, but it sounded good.

Nice hotel, nice staff, very good crêpes in the hotel restaurant and very near from a super nice Castle the "Chenonceau". Defenitely a good value. The only point not that good is that you can hear easely the noise outside, the walls are not well isolated. We did not have any trouble sleeping though.

We stayed here one night on a road trip through the Loire Valley. Clair Cottage is in the tiny town of Chisseaux but quite close to Chenonceau Chateau (but too far to walk). This is a small family run hotel and restaurant with secured parking on the premises. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the street.... More
