The minute we walked in we felt at home. The comfortable house is fresh and clean and Christine is a great host. Her B&B is ideally located between Honfleur and Deauville. What we liked most about these (touristy) villages is the great seafood. Go to the market of Deauville and order some grey shrimps with a glass of chilled white wine to go with it. We also highly recommend L’Etoile des Mers, a great little ‘poisonnerie’ in the heart of Deauville. After a day of driving and walking along the endless coast it was always a delight to return to our lovely home. The huge garden (‘jardin’) surrounding the house is the playground of a sweet dog named … Venus. We were lucky enough to have one breakfast outside. On our last morning Christine served home made pancakes in the living-room. She felt sorry for us because we had quite some rain during our short stay. She felt that she had to spoil us a little bit! How sweet! And delicious!
