Party of six visited on a Wet September evening. Only restaurant open but worth a visit. Very spacious dining room and breakfast area, and clean. Good menu showing Béarnaise and Basque cuisine, accompanied by good wine list. Friendly waiters who gave good advice on what to eat. Deserts a little slow being served.

The toilet was discoloured below the waterline and the two hairdryers didn't work. Those were the only problems. Everything else was super; the bar, reception, room, bathroom, restaurant, dinner, breakfast, helpful service and lastly all at an unbelievably value for money price in an interesting historic small town on the edge of a river with some beautiful countryside roundabout. Highly... More

On our trip of the Chemin st. Jacques we stayed in 30 different hotels. This hotel was one of the nicest we were in. Clean and well appointed. Good restaurant. And most of all a friendly and helpful staff that speak English. Located on a nice square with outside seating. I highly recommend if you are in this part of... More

Ideally situated for the GR65. The owner of the hotel could not have been more helpful, I developed conjuctivites whilst walking and she arranged for me to see a doctor. The rooms and food were very good indeed.

We stopped for a night in Navarrenx . There is not a great choice of accommodation in Navarrex , then the Logis seemed the best place to stay . We were pleasantly surprised by the place. The hotel is small , simple rooms but clean and comfortable enough . I do not think we were in the renovated part .... More

The only hotel in this little village. Very helpful and welcoming staff. The hotel has the basic features, nothing more. Breakfast: the tables are in the back of the dining room, self-service, bread and industrial marmelade and honey, no fresh fruits or any extras - remember it is a logis de france, 2 stars. It is very quiet, and ok... More

A small two-star hotel in a lovely bastide. The hotel has been modernised but is still firmly two-star in its facilities. It has no parking but there is plenty nearby. The advertised wi-fi is somewhat tedious as it requires logging-in anew each time it is used. The young staff are professional and hard-working but sometimes seem short-handed. Nice restaurant. The... More

In October, out of season and mid-week, three young men -- I doubt they were more than 21 -- seemed to be running the place and doing a terrific job. All worked in the dining room. One checked me in and another checked me out and then showed me to my room in the second building across the street. Housekeeping... More

Le Commerce belongs to the Logis de France network on independently owned hotels known for their welcome and charm. I arrived on the off chance on a Saturday evening, was informed only one room remained, and on being told of the extremely reasonable price I needed no further encouragement. The restaurant is excellent and in summer is served on the... More

We only stopped one night but the staff were more than helpful, the room was good and very clean perhaps a little overpriced but if you take in to consideration how helpful they were it was fine. Wifi was available but we didn't use it. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked interesting.
