An amazing experience lead by the whole Team of Hospedería Mirador de Llerena. Antonio who worked in the reception was absolutely amazing and so genuine and caring person and always going to the extra mile with any little issue we had . Aurora and Ana in the restaurant were so kind and so impressive and showing what Customer Services is all about . The Cleaner in the morning hats off to her as she always was ready to help and honestly her job was spotless every single day. Celia in the reception was another example of so great customer services too. I must to say I can t say anything negative about our stay in this so nice Hotel and in regular basis I am very picky .
The hotel is situated in the center of Llerena, close to the cathedral and the supermarket. The dinner is awesome and the service offered by the reception staff Antonio and the waitress Aurora at the breakfast is fantastic. Besides, the building is classical and the rooms are spacious. Strongly recommend it!
The fine elegance of southern XIX century luxury combined with the most tasteful Spanish food. Hospedería mirador de Llerena is impressive from arrival to check out. I booked a gastronomic package and enjoyed a superior room. I got a plate of local delights and wine waiting for me at my room. For dinner we got a 5 courses meal from an exceptionally talented chef accompanied by fruity local white wine. I went already three times to this hospedería and I am quite sure I will come back.
The decor here is superb and there is even an observation tower in the roof the overlooks the town. The food is excellent, although the breakfast wasn't up to the rest of the meals. A nice swimming pool and well appointed rooms. Centrally located in the town and within walking distance to the station - although in the heat, with a suitcase, a taxi is a better option.
I stayed there with a group of 24 in May 19. Good points - Hotel is an amazing building architecturally, the rooms were in the new wing - both actual room and bothroom were extremely spacious and well laid out. Downside - stone/tiled floors so noise levels from other guests moving about in hallway quite high. There were more then enough fluffy white towels in the bath room. It was impeccably clean. Bed and pillows were perfect for me - hard - but that might not be to everybody's liking. Bad points - Dinner served to the group was very average and forgettable but where it really got worse was breakfast. It was laid out in a minute ante room so there was a mile of queue of people wanting to get to stuff. The coffee machine could not cope and when they ran out of percolated coffee it was not replenished. Neither were cups. Serving staff was un-co-operative and unfriendly. But, having said that, staff at reception were very friendly.…
The staff were absolutely lovely; very welcoming & extremely helpful. The receptionist found me a different pillow with good grace, the waitress at breakfast time was charming & the man at checkout full of enthusiasm for the beautiful town of Llerena. Hotel 1 minute walk from the wonderful old centre. Beds comfortable, room quiet. The views from the Mirador at the top of the building were stunning. Bit surprised to have to pay for parking - 9€. But would recommend this place.
Very nice hotel just off the main square in a lovely village. Clean, decent-sized rooms and excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views of the whole town from the top floor. Nice café and patio to sit around and relax. Easy parking in the main square.
This was our third stay at the Hospederia - this time we went for a superior room, which was a very good choice. The standard rooms are well-appointed and spacious, but our superior room was one of the original rooms from when the building was a home - lovely antique furniture in an enormous room with an equally large bathroom. Antonio checked us in and he was extremely helpful, giving us useful tips. Aurora was our waitress both at dinner and breakfast and she was super helpful and friendly. You do need to pay the extra for the car park as Llerena is a difficult place to park - well worth the visit though.
We travelled from Portugal to Spain and chose this hotel based on positive reviews that we had we had read. Our experience was not a stellar one. The bones of the building are lovely to look at, but upon entering the central courtyard area we were greeted by furniture that was at best grimy, and in disrepair in several cases. The room was very spartan. While there with two uncomfortable guest chairs to sit on there was no table in between them, but it was alright, because there was no place but the floor to position our suitcases, so we stacked and used them. The bed and pillow were hard and very uncomfortable. The food was unremarkable. We are very experienced travellers and cannot understand how this hotel received its four star rating. Just a lovely hotel! The old building gives way to a modern extension at the back. Great location for discovering Llerena. Friendly staff too. We did not eat there but the restaurant looked pretty good too.
