This hotel was okay in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Unfortunately I had unpleasant interactions with the reception staff. My first encounter was with a young woman who did not even stand from her desk (in which she was eating lunch or a snack) and was not the least bit interested in listening to my question let alone answering it. My final encounter involved a short argument in which I needed to dispute charges made to my room. At first the woman stated I had to pay for breakfast, and I told her I had already prepaid. She said no, that I had taken breakfast on two days. This was true, but again, I prepaid and breakfast was included. I finally showed her the email, and in response she showed me two receipts for room service: one was with my signature and the other was clearly not my signature. A bit shady and finally was able to get the bill adjusted so that I could pay and leave. The only pleasant aspects of this hotel were the young woman you finally did check me in (later the same day; she was very sweet and helpful) and the fact that the hotel was fairly quiet. It's a fairly inexpensive hotel, but this should not prevent staff from being pleasant, in my opinion.…
Hotel can be expensive in big cities this hotel on the university campus is a nice hotel 5 minutes walk from public transport which brings you straight into the city center. Clean nice bar good breakfast and if needed and you do not want to go downtown you can eat in the restaurant. Bonus it is a very quiet area
Great customer service and food, even though the coffee was lukewarm. Probably the best potato bravos. Reasonably priced. Room is clean. On campus parking- within the white lines. Close to train station.
This is a good, very clean hotel outside Barcelona. Our family stayed there during a recent trip to Barcelona. Hotels in Barcelona tend to be expensive so we decided to stay in the outskirts of the city since we had a rental car and wanted to save some money. We did not regretted it. The hotel is located inside a university campus and has a railway station (8 min walking) that has trains to Barcelona few times an hour. So if you don’t want to drive, you can take the train. Very good breakfast.
If you want quiet or the be close to the AP7 or to the Tibidabo, then this hotel is perfect. It is in the midle of nowhere, but with friendly staff, good breakfast. The room was clean, but the bathroom needs a renovation.
Very good service for a reasonable price. The room was comfortable, well equipped and easily accessible also by wheelchair. People were very friendly and helpful. The only minor drawback was the breakfast selection, which could have been a bit larger and in particular include more fruits / vegetables.
This hotel is near (or in) the campus of Universitat Àutonoma and we chose it for our 5-days stay working there. The bedroom was comfortable and big enough for 2 people. The room was facing the main entrance and, in somes nights, there was a little bit of noise coming from the outside. Breakfast was good with some diversity but I was expecting more from a 4-stars hotel. Easily reacheble from the train station (Bellaterra) and a 30-minutes away from Plaça Catalunya. Staff was friendly. Wifi in the room was miserable but worked fine in the bar and in the lobby. For a hotel with this connection with the university, good-quality wifi is mandatory.
Nice ideally clean room with a comfortable bed, white walls, laminated floors, big bathroom with glass shower, a mini fridge. No hairdryer in the bathroom, which would be a nice-to-have thing, but not a big deal. Nothing wrong about the room, but the location... the hotel is located on the university campus surrounded by fields and woods and some suburban areas. It's well outside of the city center, takes 30 minutes by train (I need to mention it's a very comfortable ride though and the views out of the windows are pretty) plus waiting time on the platform (up to 20 minutes depending on the time/day of the travel) plus another 5-7 minutes to get to the station from the hotel. The cost for the ride is 3 euros per person one way. When we visited in August the university campus was a very deserted place. There is a little grocery store on the campus but no restaurants or cafes open. The pool mentioned in the description of the hotel actually belongs to the campus, so it's a short walking distance from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are not discouraged by the travel distance and time . Giving four stars, not five just because of it.…
The hotel is situated in the campus of UAB, close to train station and the highway. This hotel has very good breakfast, polite stuff and it's clean. Beds are very comfortable. No complaints in general, except the train noise and a wierd smell in the room.
I chose this hotel because of a conference. The structure is amazingly elegant, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the staff was always available to provide help. The hotel also offers free wi-fi and customers who book online are welcomed with extra treats. I also tasted a soup at the cafè and it was very good. The only negative thing, on my opinion, is its position. Indeed, the station is near but the path to it is basically in the middle of a wood, which is not particularly encouraging for a woman traveling alone when it gets dark. The fact that I was stolen my computer at the main campus deepened my feeling of uneasiness while walking through the whole area.
