Booked a last minute trip for birthday celebrations to the Cordial Magec Apartments. We received a warm welcome on arrival to the apartments and check in was quick and efficient. The apartment was lovely, bright and spacious and had almost everything we required for our stay, the only thing we felt missing was wine glasses as there were only glass tumblers however we did get a wine glass from the bar. We noticed a fruit platter, wine and birthday welcome message set on the dinning table, this was grately appreciated and a lovely unexpected gesture, making the visit feel special (gracias!). All of the staff we met from reception, cleaning, maintenance, restaurant, bar and pool were cheerful, pleasant and helpful, they all worked tirelessly to provide service and keep everything pristine. We did book 1/2 board meals, breakfast was lovely, breads, cereals , fruit, cheeses, meats and hot otions however at dinner there was limited to no vegetarian option other than the veg accompanying the hot option and salad (I did mention being vegetarian to the chef when asking what was in the food however there was no offer of making something up so I ate the salad options rather than hot), the food my husband ate he enjoyed however we did eat out a few nights as I wanted a change from the salad. The snack bar menu served throughout the afternoon had plenty of variety (salads, sandwiches, burgers (including a veggie burger), pastas, pizzas etc) and we ate there a few times as the food was great. The coast road from Taurito to puerto mogan is blocked so visiting meant a taxi ride on the new road, we did try to walk the old road but it was unnacesible as blocked off, although we did walk in the mountains which was beautiful. The bus to puerto rico picks up at the road below the hotel however we didn't use this but it seems to pick up frequently. Overall we had a lovely holiday and will certainly return to the Cordial Magec Apartments, only wished we had stayed longer.

We stayed 7 days at the CORDIAL MAGEC in Taurito . I should start by saying that the hotel is newly open and there is a an overall new and fresh felling around the hotel. The rooms are very big and spacious and feel like reel livable apartments which is a great advantage! The hotel features all the needed amenities like a descent pool and a pleasant restaurant. The cordial magec is in an excellent position, not far from a very interesting black sanded beach but watch out for the big waves! The restaurant offers breakfast, dinner and a snack menu. The breakfast is a buffet which has everything, nothing more, nothing less and the dinner is an a la carte option with the menu changing frequently. I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone planning their vacation in taurito! Ps: thank you to Patricia and her team for making our stay extra comfortable.

Cannot fault this place. It’s immaculate, modern, comfortable and has all the amenities one may require. We’re leaving tomorrow and have spent a lovely week with our family. The reception staff are very helpful, special mention for David who welcomed us the night we arrived and Gladys who pointed out all the places to visit and advised us on where to go. The breakfast service had everything one might require, lovely service from the nice lady , I dont know the name. The cleaning staff are nice too and the rooms are cleaned to high standards. We also received a plate of fresh fruit on our room. The pool is lovely and tranquil and overlooks mountains and sea. There is also a handy reasonable poolside snack bar for chips and pizza and drinks , and also pool and table tennis recreation alongside. We didn’t visit the solarium or gym but they have this too. We hired a car as it was easier to get about with family, but for those who don’t, there is a handy bus stop nearby and commuting isn’t hard. The people in Gran Canaria are nice and friendly. We had a car breakdown on top of the mountains and two couples stopped by to help, they only left after the car service ( also very prompt) promise to reach us with a solution. Definitely pleased with Cordial and look forward to exploring more of their properties. Thank you very much

Amazing hotel, I'd rate it higher than 3 stars! Everything is fresh and new still unlike the majority of traditional Spanish hotels which are old and worn-out.
A quiet and relaxing hotel which wasn't busy during our stay.
Great double balcony and walk-in shower. Swimming pool is perfect with no fight for sun loungers in the morning, always some available throughout the day.
I'd like to say thank you to all of the staff who worked tirelessly to keep the guests happy, especially Hakeem the lifeguard who went above and beyond with the our daughter and other kids to keep them entertained during the day, lovely guy!
Received an unexpected bottle of sparkling wine in our room to celebrate my birthday, lovely touch.
No reflection on the hotel whatsoever but the resort itself is very run down especially the water park. Needs a good clean, general maintenance and money spent on the place.

Ideal hotel for peacfull family holiday. Staff was very polite and helpfull. This is still a new built hotel with all bathrooms and furtniture still in good condition. Hotel owerall is spottless. Pool is not the biggest but not crowded, there was always free lounge and umbrella, no need to allocate early in a morning. There is also huge free car park down the hill so convenient if you rent a car. Only downside A/C was not working in gym.

Fabulous here! You will not be disappointed. Beautifully decorated with excellent and helpful service from all, especially Monica and Francisco. Super clean with a regular maid service. The beds were really comfortable and the location was quiet with a lovely view down to the sea and beach. The pool was also great and had a resident lifeguard. The apartment was spacious with the bedroom and bathroom separate from the open plan lounge and really well equipped kitchen area. The large private terrace could be accessed from both the lounge and the bedroom. The catering arrangements were fine with breakfast, snacks and evening meal options available and it was nice to have a bar by the pool! All in all, a fabulous week's holiday and we will return in the future for sure.

This hotel is Awsome it’s just a shame your are fobbed off with excuses about the AC. It’s our second time here and again AC problems, how can anyone expect to sleep or use a room that is plus 28 degrees as an average, these units simply blow out 22 degree air as they will not lower it for some reason . Which gives an ambient temp of 28. Such a shame .

Very nice small hotel on the edge of the resort. Spotlessly clean and tidy everywhere on the complex . Very friendly, helpful polite staff , especially on reception. Also the lifeguard seemed such a nice guy who always took the trouble to speak and get the pool inflatables out for the kids each day.

The apartments and resort are still ‘showroom new’ at the moment so everything was clean and fresh. A great apartment (with double balcony) to stay in and the facilities were excellent. Loved the pool and the views were great. The hotel staff were also very helpful and friendly. Can’t comment on the food as we stayed as self catering. The area itself is quiet but ideal if that’s the kind of stay you’re looking for. We hired a car and regularly went to Mogan and Puerto Rico but Taurito was always nice to come back to. We did notice lots of buses and available taxis so plenty of options to visit other resorts should you choose to stay in Taurito. What would have been useful is a welcome pack/booklet provided by the hotel itself, all we were given was one sheet of paper with limited information on it. I was there in Jan 2021 and there was no courtesy bus from the hotel to puerto de Morgan so you either have to take the taxi which is around 16 euros or use your own car. There is a very nice tapas restaurant on the beach in taurito and you can also eat at the many resorts in the surroundings or use the hotels own restaurant.
There are more places to choose from in the Taurito area.
