Stayed here for two night on business with a group of colleagues. I commented on the noise at night and they concurred. Heaters, exhaust fans, street noise; our rooms were not the most quiet places we have stayed. But they were comfortable. I also appreciated the layout of the rooms, each bathroom and bedroom was like a room within a...

I was visiting a sick family member at St Vincent's hospital this week, and had spent one night at the hospital in the visitor bed. I decided that I would book into the hotel the next day as other family were staying there. When enquiries were made early the next morning regarding room availability and how early I could check...

Our stay started with an air conditioning problem and they were quick to swap us to another room, but it seems bad luck followed up with the door lock failing on the second room!!! I thought we were at hotel hell!!! But it is not how a hotel responds when everything goes right, it's how they react when things go...

The metropole is in a great location with Brunswick, Gertrude streets on your doorstep. We had a two bedroom townhouse as we were travelling with kids. It included washer/dryer and full kitchen which saved us some $$ as we could prepare breakfast or a light dinner on most days. Rooms were serviced daily (but not Sundays) and parking included. The...

This hotel, while on a busy street, was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always making my mum and I feel welcomed. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

For a Saturday night our stay was sound proof from the inside which was relaxing! Everwhere was spacious. The spa was soothing. And I must say I had a very nice sleep with the comfortable bed and pillows. And as a decorative point of view I loved the black iron matching furniture!

A nice motel close to all attractions. The staff are friendly and professional. The spa room was huge. The first floor outlooks onto neighbouring blocks are no so good, but that's not the Metropole's fault. Even though the place was full it was also very quiet (no noise) for a Sat night so very comfortable.

Stayed in two bedroom double story unit. Very spacious and well maintained did not use apartment facilities but it had everything u would need for a long term stay. Complimentary parking a bonus, located in a good location close to everything. Make sure shut Windows trams can be a but noisy. Small criticism pool could do with a spruce up

It was very noisy with so many air-conditioner motors right outside the bedroom window, especially if you didn't want to use the aircon and open up a window. Noise made that impossible. Our room 219 had just been painted, had a very strong smell still lingering, very over powering. Winder fell of the window when opening. The hotel is only...
