Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for two nights in July 2021. This site is absolutely amazing!
The site has great facilities for showers (including sockets for hair styling/phone charging), bathrooms, recycling, etc. There are a few facility blocks in the site so you won't have too far to walk. The site also has facilities for washing dishes, cooking, etc.
We arrived early enough on our first day and got a great pitch site with a fab view of the sea. To be fair all the sites had a great view, the location of the campsite means no matter where your tent/caravan/mobile is set up you will have a good view and some pretty scenery to watch the sunset over. The site is massive and so well kept!
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful at check in and we did not have any other dealings with them until we left on our last day.
The site has plenty of coves/areas to go sea swimming or bring out a kayak/inflatable/sup.
We also found the location amazing for exploring West Cork.
We highly recommend visiting Eagle Point for a few days and we will definitely be returning!

We stayed in Eagle Point for 6 nights recently and could not fault the place. On arrival we discussed the weather and the lady booking is in offered us the. Janice to only pay for a few nights in case we wanted to head home early. This was so fair of her given all that is going on with Covid at present.
The pitch we got for our caravan was outstanding overlooking the bay and playground with the water literally a stones throw away. The pitch was relatively flat which is always a help for setting up the awning.
Toilets and Shower facilities were spotless and cleaned regularly during the day. We used the tennis court during the week which was free to use and it was in great condition.
Proximity to Bantry and Glengarriff coupled with Kenmare and Barleycove within 40 minutes makes it an ideal base in West Cork.
We will definitely be staying here again. Such a great site really well run.

Great campsite in a fantastic location. To be able to go to bed or weak up in the morning and have a super view over the sea, it’s like a dream.
The whole site is well laid out with loads of facilities that were very clean, which in these Covid times makes you feel very safe.
The site is in a great central location for touring West Cork.

My family had our first tent camping experiece this July and we cannot wait to return! What a place! We were spoiled for choice when it came to pitching out tent, from spots beside the site's private stoney beaches to the more rustic spots further out towards the end of the site surrounded by water and rocky shore line (we chose the latter and was well worth it even though you are a little more exposed to the breezy elements and a little further from the facilities i.e. bathrooms etc).
The facilities were in excellent condition with well stocked toilet roll, soap and hand sanitiser - essential in these times.
There are lovely little play ground areas aswell as a number of swimming spots (the water was so clear! Plenty of water sport options.
As mentioned there is a Centra shop across the road, or a Lidl in Bantry just a short drive away when you turn right out of the site.
Cannot wait to return!!

Absolutely stunning views across the sea and the cleanest facilities we’ve ever seen. It’s such a relief to see well sign-posted service points for Motorhomes that are big enough to easily fill up water, empty grey water and all the other daily tasks (!) All facilities are absolutely top-notch! This, combined with stunning views, made this a wonderful visit. Thank you! We’ll be back!

The location is amazing, right on the sea with lovely views, close to Bantry and facilities. The site is very well run, and the showers / toilets are spotless . It is quiet and very suitable for families. While it is big there is no sense of crowding, pitches good and most importantly the drainage is excellent, no water logging despite a deluge on one of the nights we stayed. Really enjoyed the stay

This is one of our favourite campsites. It's got everything, stunning views, great facilities, helpful staff, nearby shop and pub and close to beautiful tourist spots. Siobhan and Liz and staff ,run this campsite so that facilities are pristine and it's a safe area for children and a quiet place at night.
Bathrooms, wash up areas are cleaned to a very high standard, with free showers providing all day hot water.
Being able to camp right on the waters edge and waking up in the morning to look out at the sea, fantastic! There were whales around this weekend so great fun watching them. We usually bring the kayaks but knew the weather wasn't great so left them at home, but kids enjoyed a swim in the sea and a paddle in the rock pools. At the gate of the campsite is a large Centra with a home ware shop so everything from morning coffee and croissants to a lump hammer for the tent pegs!! Bantry is only 3 miles in the road, and Glengarriff not far the other direction. The office is full of local information and the girls on reception are very helpful. I could go on, this campsite is highly recommended. You will go back.

Having visited a very large number of sites throughout Europe, this is "Par Excellence" in my view. Site was well laid out with regularly cleaned facilities, wifi available, and full services for all camping types. A shop, service station and a hardware store nearby for all eventualities. Taxi service ( external provider) available if you wish to dine out and enjoy the local cuisine. Bantry town is nearby with additional shopping available, Enjoy the sunsets on the Wild Atlantic Way.

I Cannot recommend this site highly enough. The location is amazing, right on the sea with lovely views, close to Bantry and Kenmare. We even did a day trip to mizen head. The site is very well run, and the showers / toilets and all facilities are spotless. Even given the circumstances this year with COVID-19 etc. The site felt safe and was run to very high standards and nothing for the two ladies in reception was ever a problem. It is quiet and very suitable for families but also for couples. While it is big there is no sense of over crowding and the pitches are good.

We stayed here for 3 nights in our motor home recently. Its a spacious camp site with loads of water frontage. We were parked near a little beach and were able to leave our kayaks there the whole time. It had lots of facilities, tennis courts, football pitch, a basketball hoop, 2 little playgrounds, 3 bathroom and kitchen blocks. Laundry block and Even has washing lines behind a campers kitchen. The sea was very calm whilst we were there so we managed to kayak to adjust island, but lots of swimming areas and little pathways to walk. There is a centra across the road with a hardware shop so everything you need provided. I give this campsite 5 stars.

People do swim but usually at high tide
We go with 2 girls every year who are now 6&7 and they have a ball...Its the type of campsite where the kids make their fun, playing on the beach, rock pools etc. The site is very well maintained with good security and scenery absolutely beautifull
