Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Beautiful picturesque place on a baltic sea shore and pine tree wood around. Free parking , free golf , free welcome drinks. Hotel area has wood cabins with small patio in front as well as red brick building which is sound like built back in long days we don't mind that at all on the contrary it felt good as back in old days , rooms not big but clean with a seaview from balcony. Need to book sauna if you want to use it unless it's not busy. On a lake with a fountain there is a free barbecue area , bring your cutlery ,skewers for barbecue though and charcoal for fire. Rooms need fridges!!! Sea has plenty of sharp stones perhaps is a good idea to provide a stone free entrance to the sea ,next to pier for those who want swim at a sea. Otherwise we liked breakfast and overall staying at a hotel.

Hi everyone! Although the facilities are nice in outdoors ... indoors are not at the level of the hotel as ... guestrooms have inadquate ventilation and no air conditioning. Especially the suite ... no A/C, no openable windows, no ventilation operating!!!? Ok ... A/C is not required by the law directly (but ventilation is!) ... although the temperature there was (hot July 2021) probably many degrees over +30'C when we entered and as I said no ventilation ... Changed the room to the "ordinary" one - much better temperature (I guess 29 or smthng but still better) but again ... no ventilation and ... when trying to open the balcony door - guess what! You get the smell of cigarette smoke!!? Yes ... they allow balcony smoking ... Beach is not bad (although stoney!) but much better one you can find couple of km northwards ... Food is very average and no choices really ... (for ex. no a la carte, just the average buffet (tried) and pizza (tried)) To cut a long story short - great dissapointment, won't go back! Urmas

Located at the sea beside forest , came to reception , the lady there need some training as she was speaking to her colleagues while we doing the check in , her concentration was not the guest and she feel not happy to give information, The room was very clean , nice , nice furniture , the view was amazing The place is peaceful and I would suggest to keep the Resturant open longer as it is the only dinning option and nothing around so I see opportunity for increase revenue The menu is very limited but the quality are very good as well the taste , breakfast is good and there is enough variety, Wifi is not strong and it is in the building only , outdoors not working , However it is very nice hidden hotel and highly recommend to try .

So it’s a building of nice 1980s architecture, now renovated into a hotel which is nice. We stayed in the hotel, they only have twin rooms if you’re not choosig a suite. Room price is quite expensive though. Then again, it’s located right at the seaside and they have a pool. So, if you’re not expecting too much it may be a nice experience to stay there for one or two nights.

If you want to feel in a really total remote place, this has the potential to be the right spot. Unfortunately there are really many things to improve and frustrations prevailed during our stay in the "family room"... To start, check-in (a sunday afternoon) was at the edge of rudeness. Then, the rooms... very simply and cheap furnished, uncomfortable bedding and dust-smelling carpet-floor (caution! dust mites...). Dinner is served in a room with terrace and amazing beautiful view on the sea (great sunset-view), unfortunately personnel is not really trained... Breakfast is served in same location... and if you come in July and there is a high occupancy rate, you will line up at the coffee machine up to 10 min (!!) and need to wait for.. a seated position. WiFi only available in reception/lobby area and not efficient at all... It's such a pity, the location and view are great. This could really be a nice and relaxing resort. Unfortunately guests are not treated as they should be, any complaint or suggestion are simply ignored.

Didn't stay here overnight but dropped by to have a coffee during our drive via Baltica. Amazing sea view from the terrace. Nice surroundings and fun looking small cabinets for those who are serching a little bit of camping experience. Next time we may reserve a room with jacuzzi :)

We could not find any other stay, or did not try hard enough, and booked a room over here, no regrets!! Perfect location, good sunset to be admired, good Estonian diner and well English spoken service. The room had good space, seaview and proper furniture, the vacuumcleaner could have been used more fanatic. Breakfast is a bit sober. Only disadvantage the price, which for Estonia is highish.

This was the most expensive accommodation that I stayed at in Estonia and I am not entirely convinced that the price reflects the quality, facilities, etc. However, there were no other options available in this part of Estonia. The location of the Lepanina Hotell is amazing right on the shore and with sea views from the rooms. Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly. My room was large, clean and comfortable. At the time I stayed, I think I was the only guest which in a large hotel felt rather strange. However, I can imagine that in the summer months the hotel becomes much busier and livelier. Dinner was very good and breakfast constituted a wide range of options pre-ordered the night before. My main criticism is that a large and relatively expensive hotel had such an appalling wi-fi internet service .... no reception in the room or restaurant and only a limited service in some corridor areas. That really is not good enough in a country that has such a widespread, excellent and free wi-fi service compared with UK. If I visited this part of Estonia again, I would probably stay at the Lepanina Hotell again but only due to the fact there are no alternatives to consider.

When we made reservation, I received an answer form hotel like that: "We do have 4-bedded summerhouses with a price of ... Price includes breakfast in a buffet table, usage of toilet and showers, bed linens and hand towels, usage of the sun terrace and outdoor swimming pool." Great, only... When we get there, girl in reception was surprised and told, than swimming pool is only for hotel guests. We had 5 children, who all was waiting for swimming pool, besides sea was full of smelling seaweeds – no way to swim there. But thank's hotel owner or manager, who, after 10-15 minutes discussion, allowed to use pool for 1 hour. Happy children, happy mom! :) All other things was great!

we stayed there only because we were passing Estonia by car traveling to other destination and it was the only option to buy a stay near Pärnu trough internet. All cheaper locations were already booked. The hotel room for two adults and one kid (two rooms) was too expensive (110 eur per night) taking into account that Estonia is the poorest country in EU. The hotel is quietly situated in the countryside on the beach with beautiful view. No crowds and hordes of people. There are not many activities available except bikes and some shows for kids. Nearest shops and restaurants are far. Baltics is not our destination for summer holiday because the weather and the sea are usually cold during summer times. This time it was especially cold, rainy and windy. The balcony was full of rain water. GSM and Wi-fi do not work in the room. Evening restaurant service was really slow, we waisted 2 hours waiting for our meals, and there are no other places to go for a dinner that would be close enough espeacially when it is late evening. The food is good and the price is good too comparing to other older european countries like Finland for example. Breakfast is eatable. The shower room is separated from the toilet and the water licks outside the room to the leaving room when showering for some time. This hotel is ideal place for romantic stay or solo stay for meditation due to its sea and forest views, and its baltic nature. Kids require sun, sea, water and more diverse activities that this location obviously lacks. If we stayed with kid for a summer holiday we would choose warmer place with more facilities.
