Hotel fairly clean, had a room on the second floor and it had a very unpleasant smell from the moment we walked in until the moment we checked out, no idea where it was coming from. To top this off, the shower did not work, turned it on even to the most powerful setting it could

Thank you or your review, and I am sorry to read of your experience. I will ensure our maintenance team have a look at the accommodation on that floor to try and identify if there is still a smell and where it is coming from so that we do not affect other guests in the future. Also I am sorry that you experienced shower pressure issues. We have identified that in some parts of the hotel, although only a few rooms, the shower pressure does fluctuate during busy times, and we are working on a solution for this. Our 'At Your Service' team are available 24 hours a day and would have happily have relocated you. I hope to welcome you back to us again in the future for your next stay in the area, and an altogether better experience. Kind regards, Michael Simpson

Thank you for taking the time to review us, and I appreciate you leaving such a rounded review. I am sorry to read the issues you had with your accommodation, and the noise you heard. We aim to keep the rooms as quiet as possible and even have triple glazing in some parts of the hotel to assist in reducing road noise. I will mention your comments to my leisure club manager, and we will monitor feedback, as we usually do not receive feedback of this nature. I hope to welcome you back to us again for an altogether better stay experience in the hotel. Kind regards, Michael Simpson

Room needs refurbishing and needs good maintance. The room we stayed in could not get to have a shower or bath water supply was not good. Luckily only stayed the one night. The only good thing about the hotel is walking distance to the world resorts.

It’s fairly close, it was a 10 minute walk to Birmingham international station where the airport shuttle is so a really short drive in a taxi
