Our caving club held our annual dinner at the hotel, we were very well looked after by the attentive staff. The food was excellent and was more of restaurant quality rather than the usual function mass produced offering and plenty of it too. A great venue for an event or wedding,

This weekend, we celebrated an eightieth and seventieth birthday for two very special ladies in our family. Having stayed at Cameley Lodge twice before, we knew, we would have a fabulous time, but bringing family to somewhere you enjoy can be a risk. Paula and John made the weekend very special, even providing us with a large TV screen so...

We have come here for our walking group's Christmas lunch for many years and it is always a real treat. The food is very good with various choices apart from turkey and Christmas pudding! The young staff look very smart and are efficient and polite. The views on a sunny and frosty day are a delight too.

We went with friends for Sunday lunch. Excellent choice menu with a selection of roasts. Good size portions with four or five vegetables. We had no room for pudding but they looked good. We have visited before as part of a group for a birthday party with about fifty guests. Lots of parking. Best to bring a sat navy if...

Went for supper to this delightful venue. Excellent views of the Somerset countryside with its own lake. Staff were exceedingly friendly and welcoming and really put themselves out. Food was good quality and well cooked - most delicious. Highly recommended

Though I have never stayed at this hotel overnight as I live locally, I have eaten in the restaurant on previous occasions and can recommend it. On the occasion I am reviewing we had booked a reception/wake following a funeral. The owner, ( I'm sorry but her name has slipped from my memory), was extremely sympathetic and helpful when we...

Only Nine rooms which makes for a quiet, intimate venue, lift to first floor, secluded location; but only a few miles from, Bristol, Bath, Wells, Cheddar and LOTS more. A real Gem, all staff so...
