Managed to get a pitch on this lovely site at very short notice. It’s a beautiful site very clean toilets/showers. Near main road on a bus route to Bristol which is very good takes you right into the centre, the bus station is quite near if you want to go into Bath takes about 40 mins. Really recommend this camp site owners are lovely and friendly.

Lovely little site , great for the kids , tucked away with good facilities, all I will say is the owners are very particular about the grass so NEVER drive over it unless they say so or you will be in trouble , speed limit is 5 mph but you will also get told off for driving at that speed.

I stayed at Brook Lodge Camping for 10 nights and loved it. The staff are friendly and are a regular sight around the campsite every day chatting with campers, cutting the grass, watering plants, manning the reception etc etc. Debbie the owner was especially helpful when my holiday had to be delayed, moving my booking by a few days without penalty. The shower block was deep cleaned every day and the wet room was a delight to use - better than my bathroom at home! There's a laundry and washing up facilities, again all very clean. Particularly welcome was the large fridge & freezer to store packs of cold drinks and ice which was a lifesaver in the heatwave. The campsite is a couple of miles south of Bristol Airport but I didn't hear planes at all. I was aware of traffic noise from the A38 which runs alongside but trees line the site & muffle it somewhat. While I was there it was generally a constant hum rather than the sudden noise of boy racers or roaring lorries so it really didn't disturb me at all. There's loads to see and do within a few miles of the campsite. Bristol is an easy 20-30 minutes away and the coast is about the same. The Mendip Hills and the Chew Valley Lakes are even closer. It's a good base for those who enjoy walking. I'll definately be going again.

We first got in contact with Debbie last summer (2020) after recently getting engaged and hoping to plan a festival style wedding. We hosted our WEDFEST at Brook Lodge on 23rd-26th July and it was sensational. From when we first met and Debbie and Ian showed us around they have been fabulous. The site is beautiful and we have seen the huge effort that has gone into the recent modifications they have done. This is a lovely site to camp as it has so many great amenities-everything you could need. It is also a fantastic site for events such as ours as it has the Holiday Inn situated perfectly over the road and it has separate fields which worked so well for the camping and dancing at a wedding style event. Debbie was open to any suggestions and let us completely take over the campsite and plan and create the exact areas we wanted. So many of our guest commented on what a fantastic place Brook Lodge is and it has become somewhere very very special to us that we will return to for years to come. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

Firstly I’d like to add that this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to write a review on anywhere but considering the way my friends and I were treated I couldn’t help but make others aware not to visit this place. Firstly greeted by a rude and aggressive women (owner) who instantly asked how we entered through her security gate which was left open as if we had done something wrong. We then found ourselves victim of this women again later that night when she rudely told us we were endangering ourselves with having our electrics under cover and not in the tent, I’m unsure how this was any of her business to begin with, she was also very unhelpful and couldn’t even supply a torch when our lightening wasn’t efficient enough. We had drinks and games and admittedly in the morning there was a few cans and food on the bench outside our tents in our payed for area, I was awoken by the 2 owners man and women who were outside our tent unaware of mine and my friends presence calling us rude and disgusting! This was vile and uncalled for considering it was 7am and they didn’t even give us a chance to clean and we still had another day left here, never would we return and a word of advice for the horrible owners.. check your customers aren’t in their tents before you bad mouth them.
