We have only just now returned from our holiday and our experiences echo what has been said two days ago. This hotel does not represent value for money at all. To start , the condition of the drive up to the hotel reception is full of potholes. Beware if you are not driving a 4x4 or utility vehicle. The service...

A warning to all - this hotel does not value its guests! We felt more like model visitors upon which the 'student' staff could practice. I was not the only one comparing this place to Fawlty Towers - the service was an absolute shambles from start to finish. It seems this hotel is used for training purposes for staff to...

Dalmunzie Castle is supposed to be a luxury hotel, but it is not living up to our expectations. Our room was lovley, light, with beautiful views over the lawn and mountains from every room, furnished with old styled furniture, but still fresh and well cleaned. We where there at Easter, so we had three small Easteregg and one big in...

The castle hotel was wonderful and the estate spectacular. Staff attentive and friendly. The only 'slight' downside the food. Some courses were good and others not so good. So I have to rank the meals as average, but the hotel and location excellent.

We stayed here for one night last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed walking in the grounds and a very tasty five course dining experience. Staff were all relatively new however were all very pleasant and helpful. The room we stayed in was of a good size. Nice areas to sit downstairs in front of the fires and the hotel is dog...

The castle was great. The staff was very attentive and friendly and we received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. It is in a very remote part of the country so don't expect you phones to work but who wants a phone anyway with such beautiful views.

My husband and I had three nights at this lovely castle hotel. After being welcomed we were taken to our room which was named MacPherson. Names are much more friendly than numbers. The surrounding scenery is spectacular as is most of Scotland. Sadly no snow for skiing when we were there but beautiful walks a plenty. Afternoon tea was provided...

The perfect getaway with attentive and friendly staff, delicious and well presented food plus a delightfully well appointed and decorated bedroom. Great walking country with an abundance of wildlife and breath taking views all accessible from the hotel. Already looking to book our next visit.

Visited the Castle for an overnight break. On arrival we were offered tea/coffee and scones which were delicious - we had them in front of the log fire. Our rooms had fourposter beds and had lovely traditional furnishings. The bathroom was dated with the shower being a bit under pressure but it was clean with lovely towels and Clarins Body...
