Stayed for two nights.  Location lovely.  Check in friendly and efficient.  Rooms are a little bit tired and could do with some tlc but were clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was ok.   Biggest disappointment was the food and service.  It was patchy, while I encountered some good service - there was also some downright awful service.   1.  Tried to...

Dear Lesley M Thank you for your recent feedback via tripadvisor, Im sorry for the problems you encountered during your stay. On our bar menu we have a few vegetarian options and I agree that this needs to be increased to offer all guests a variety of dishes, for this reason we are finalising both a vegetarian menu and gluten...

We recently took advantage of a 5pm offer for 2 nights B&B with cream tea for 2. On arriving at the hotel about 3.30pm we were advised our room wasn't get ready. The receptionist was very helpful, polite and welcoming. We paid £20 a night to upgrade to an executive room offering views of the Loch and Schiehallion. I have...

Dear db1366 Thank you for your recent feedback via tripadvisor regarding your recent stay with us, some of our loch view rooms have a side view which unfortunately is not an uninterrupted view. We are currently reviewing our policy on dogs within the hotel and how we can manage the expectations of both non dog owners and dog owners visiting...

Arrived to a warm welcome and given a room with a view over the loch. The positives are very friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, and good views. The negatives are the building is 'tired' and is needing a lot of money spent on the public rooms and bedrooms, the food was priced steeply and did not quite justify the prices...

Dear Leon08 Thank you for your recent highly positive feedback via tripadvisor, Im glad you enjoyed both the hotel and the location. Im sorry the pool was not warm during your stay, at times the water temperature can dip significantly and does take a bit of time to get back up to temperature but I will certainly discuss this with...

Two night stay. Reception was pleasant and efficient with room ready. Bedroom was a good size with sofa and a great view of the loch. Evening meal in Ptarmigan Restaurant was very good. The scallops, lamb shank and creme brulee were delicious. The wine was a wee bit on the dear side. Breakfast was good even if you didn't go...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Itison deal and couldn't fault it for value for money. I agree with previous reviews that the hotel is a bit tired in places but you just have to look at that as being part of its charm. Stunning location, lovely room with lochside view. Breakfasts were really good with lots...

Rooms over looked the Loch very clean and warm, shower a bit feeble. This is a three star hotel so you will get you what you pay for, but the staff could not be more friendlier or helpful. We booked Dinner Bed & Breakfast, food very tasty and pleasant, good selection on kids menu. We always try to book hotels...

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a nice room with a lovely view of the loch. The room was big and very spacious but the bed wasn't very comfy as it seemed to sink at the end. We decided to try out the pool and sauna. The facilities are badly needing a good clean and very grubby round...

Staff were helpful and friend and the hotel and lovely views over the loch. The location is a little remote but if you like that kind of thing, then great. Hotel was a little tired and could do with some updating.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly the receptionists. Breakfast ...was at best OK. First morning it was cold and took a very long time to arrive. Certainly would not pay the listed price for the breakfast. (Got breakfast free with offer). Stunning location and for the offer price it was a lovely weekend.
