We stayed in the Squirrel Lodge and had a wonderful time making full use of the facilities such as the swimming pool, sauna and jaccuzzi - the lodge was absolutely wonderful with gorgeous furniture and had great décor, the only issue I had was with the settee - not only was it dated but it was absolutely filthy it needed...

Firstly I am so sorry about the settee, It is brown leather and therefore I cannot see how is it dated!!! however it being muddy is unforgivable and I have taken it up with the housekeeping staff. I checked you out so wish you would have said something to me then.....nothing was mentioned about the settee although we did have...

We primarily booked to stay here as we were looking for a dog friendly place for the night. On arrival we were given a tour of the lodge which was a great touch, immediately made to feel welcome. We stayed in 'Bracken' lodge, this room was really homely and easy to feel at home in. We had a lovely evening...

Yes having Felbrigg Hall literally on our doorstep gives our guests an additional 1760 acres of parkland and woodland to explore. Ideal for dog walkers and guests just wanting some space to kick back and breathe. We will look forward to welcoming you in the near future, yes having a chill out in the pool and hot tub is a...

Took my Husband to Felbrigg Lodge for a birthday treat for a night away just the two of us. The weather was awful but it really didn't dampen our time away. Easy enough to find although it does seem to be in the middle of nowhere! Friendly welcome, a tour of the facilities, the whole place was so quiet and...

Yes the weather was foul wasnt it , over the last few days...but spring is around the corner. Like it has arrived today blue skies and I am sitting in the reception listening to the birds singing....such a hardship ha ha not sirens, or airplanes, or motorway noise just nature at its best. Yes summer is fabulous here sitting in...

This was a completely impulsive booking as my partner and I had a child free night. What a find! No really, what a find! Tucked away in the idyllic picturesque setting that is north Norfolk, you already know the scenery will be good. We arrived just after five and was given a very friendly tour of the stunning grounds... I...

My husband and I just stayed for 1 night (we wish it was more) as a last minute 30th birthday treat. We turned up to be told by the very lovely owner we had been upgraded to the Oak Pavilion. Well what can I say........Perfect. Beautiful setting for our completely chilled night away. We indulged in the homemade (warm) scones...

We will try to upgrade if at all possible and it was a special occasion you are not 30 every day...... THis wet weather is playing havoc with the garden everywhere is muddy and soggy but I am so pleased you saw through that and with the spring flowers peeking up through the ground it gives us all a sign...

Well appointed traditional lodges/cottages. Tranquil in a pine wood setting. Great for a short escape. Decent sized swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub that was nice and hot and easily accommodates 4 persons. Great walk through woods to Fellbrigg Hall and coast only 10 minute drive away. Breakfast good and generous sized cooked options. Would be nice to have...

You are so right it is the little things that count.........A jug of water will be included from now on thank you for that observation. We always serve guests iced water if requested but haven't thought of putting a jug on the buffet table. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again DeeDee

Nice place for an over night stay - probably the wrong time of year to go, but enjoyed the break either way. Room size & decor was really nice; pool and jacuzzi area is a must. Breakfast was really good too, with friendly service, which is always nice

Lots of people come away this time of year for a little winter break, but obviously the weather is very unpredictable and in the east we normally escape a lot of the wet weather the west experiences. When we do there is no better place to walk on deserted beaches, watch the snowdrops popping their heads out and letting us...

We stayed in a lodge in the grounds last weekend and were impressed by the peaceful location. The lodge was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The food was delicious and included a good choice of gluten free food both at breakfast and dinner. A lovely place for a relaxing weekend.

With so many people gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, vegetarian, vegan, etc it would be amiss of us to not cater for you all. Felbrigg is probably one of the quietest locations off all hotels in this area. As most of the rooms are set in the grounds and are single storey, you don't have someone dropping a shoe...

I wanted to spend a couple of nights in a tranquil environment, in order to rest my voice due to a bout of laryngitis. Destiny brought me to Felbrigg Lodge! Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Felbrigg Lodge in a unique small boutique hotel in North Norfolk (we are boutique not because of the modern minimalistic décor, but because we are one of a kind, we have an independent attitude and our clients are individualist too. We offer a unique guest experience)The hotel is not a typical one it has no long dark corridors where someone slams a door at 2am,or drops a shoe on the floor just when you have got to sleep. Nor does it have large empty reception rooms which look like an upmarket furniture warehouse which are only full on high days and holidays. We don't need them all our rooms are suites and have ample seating again not like most hotels that are so small you have to sit on the bed to be comfortable and watch telly. We are set in a beautiful woodland location where relaxation and peace are paramount. There are eight rooms set in the grounds which are all ground floor. The remaining two can be found in the main house on the first floor , the house also includes the small intimate restaurant that even when we are full you will never experience an extensive wait for your food. We now boast a small conservatory which overlooks the garden and babbling brook. As we are licensed you can relax and enjoy a drink, or a glass of wine. All rooms are individually styled 5 having recently been recently refurbished. We have a heated indoor swimming pool, and an outside hot tub. We endeavour to make exceptional friendly customer service our mission. ... more   less
