Lovely secluded weekend escape. Very quite and hidden out the way in tranquille country side. Access to hot tub and pool, although the hot tub is shared with the other guest and access is restricted to opening times. Food was lovely and the restaurant has a lovely intermit feel. We have stayed on more then one occasion and will continue...

Always lovely to see you....yes we open the pool and hot tub from 7.30 am until 9pm this is not our choice it is the insurers who insist it must not be open late into the night as it encourages people to swim and go into the hot tub after dinner and after having a drink.... Look forward to seeing...

We chose to stay here as their website promoted it as a good place to convalesce. I had been struggling with a chronic illness and my partner and I needed a couple of nights away to rest and take a breath. We took advantage of the pool and sauna however one look at the layer of scum floating on the...

It was me that checked you out and as usual there are two sides to every story. I also had a witness to what was said and how it was said. I have had many people stay in Oak and haven't had an issue with the bed, each individual however has their own preference to the firmness of the mattress...

We had a 3 night stay at Felbrigg Lodge with our two sons of 2yrs and 4yrs. Its a beautiful setting in natural woodland. The lodge was modern and fully equipped, lovely and spacious with an outdoor area gated off for the lodge for our boys to run around in. We made good use of the indoor pool, which is...

Delighted you and your family enjoyed your time with us and exploring the North Norfolk coast and all it has to offer. It is a bit like stepping back in time , but that's part of its charm.....children love the freedom the beach and the woodlands offer space to kick back and breathe and do lots of fun things many...

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at Felbrigg Lodge with a family party for two nights with a family dinner on one night. We were 6 adults and 6 children (aged 6 to 12). We had such a happy time walking in the grounds of Felbrigg House, visiting the seaside and especially using the pool and the hot tub. The...

I am so pleased to have found this hidden gem hotel. I had been planning a surprise baby shower weekend for my best friend, inviting along 4 other friends (6 of us in total) and this seemed like the perfect place to celebrate it. I sent some bunting and balloons in the post to have set up on arrival, which...

Well I am not sure I want to write a good review, as I want to keep this little gem to myself and maybe a few very close family and friends. From arrival to departure the staff were fantastic. We had a tour around before being shown to our accommodation. Obviously I had a pretty good idea what I was...

James our wonderful Head Chef will be delighted at your comments regarding the food. I have tried to post a new review a couple of times, but TA says "not until 3 months" even though it was more than that. So let me try again! After our previous stay, we promised ourselves a spring weekend at Felbrigg Lodge. We were not disappointed! We booked a bronze lodge as it was only for 2 nghts,...

We had an excellent fun break @ Felbrigg Lodge - everything was perfect The lodge was very comfortable, the food great and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Dee Dee and her crew go to enormous lengths to make one feel welcome - Hugo the black Labrador is the icing on the cake. Thank you so much.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Felbrigg Lodge in a unique small boutique hotel in North Norfolk (we are boutique not because of the modern minimalistic décor, but because we are one of a kind, we have an independent attitude and our clients are individualist too. We offer a unique guest experience)The hotel is not a typical one it has no long dark corridors where someone slams a door at 2am,or drops a shoe on the floor just when you have got to sleep. Nor does it have large empty reception rooms which look like an upmarket furniture warehouse which are only full on high days and holidays. We don't need them all our rooms are suites and have ample seating again not like most hotels that are so small you have to sit on the bed to be comfortable and watch telly. We are set in a beautiful woodland location where relaxation and peace are paramount. There are eight rooms set in the grounds which are all ground floor. The remaining two can be found in the main house on the first floor , the house also includes the small intimate restaurant that even when we are full you will never experience an extensive wait for your food. We now boast a small conservatory which overlooks the garden and babbling brook. As we are licensed you can relax and enjoy a drink, or a glass of wine. All rooms are individually styled 5 having recently been recently refurbished. We have a heated indoor swimming pool, and an outside hot tub. We endeavour to make exceptional friendly customer service our mission. ... more   less
