Surprisingly good Christmas dinner for a group of 24. Sadly one has low expectations of group Christmas dinners but Roman Camp did themselves proud. Tasty venison pate followed by game pie and veg. What a wonderful offering... none of the uninspired melon or prawn dishes so often presented. Those who had turkey were well sated with generous amounts. I didn't...

Sad really it is like this. If you bought a Ferrari to find it fitted with a fiesta engine you would be very disappointed. Thats Roman Camp the analogy is thus a ferrari with a proper engine looks like a ferrari nobody see's the engine. This place is warm & friendly. Clean well presented, our wish for a table in...

We stayed here for one night having previously visited the Roman Camp Inn for a meal. The accommodation is very well designed with easy access from the car park. The room was small but very well decorated, and the bathroom was of a very high standard. At lunchtime we had a bar snack which we enjoyed, and in the evening...

Constant delivering high level of service, always happy to help and friendly. Comfortable and recently been refurbished rooms. Good access for wheelchair people on ground floor. Good evening and breakfast served, can get busy, my suggestion make a table booking when booking your room

Over this past weekend we have visited this lovely place twice. The staff on duty were very attentive and nice with people. We enjoyed two wonderful meal's in the restaurant, and they were delicious. And the restaurant was good as well. If we did not live so far away, we would frequent this superb Inn a lot.

Our rugby club golfing section have been regularly visiting the Cromer area for the last 70 years and have stayed at the Roman Camp for at least the last 15. We all strongly recommend this family owned hotel with great food, an excellent bar (very important to us!) and above all a brilliant and very bright team of staff. We...

We (mum, husband and me) called in here for Sunday lunch about six months ago and have made it our regular Sunday outing ever since (probably being 5 Sundays out of 6). The food is absolutely superb both in quality and quantity, and we have always found the service to be excellent - thank you Stephanie. Reasonably priced too. We...

We had a 3 night stay and really enjoyed the ambiance, the patio area and gardens were a delight. Staff very friendly and helpful. BUT they do need to address some issues with the food as vegetables are virtually nonexistant unless you pay an extra £3.00 for a small dish of mainly carrots, this is not acceptable and when roast...

Thank you for your comments which we have taken on board regarding your vegetables. We serve 3 types of vegetables with the Roast Beef on Sundays , Carrots , Our own garden grown courgettes and Cabbage. We have spoken to the kitchen team who will be rectifying any further problems .

There were 6 of us having lunch the other day at the Roman Camp. Two of us had goats cheese tart, salad and potatoes. Cost £12 plus. The tart was a small thin slice and a bit over cooked. Two others had chicken breast with dauphinoise potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables, which turned out to be slithers of peppers. Again this...
