We were looking forward to a night in a hotel with dinner and a good breakfast, to find no food served on a Thursady evening and breakfast was presented outside our door in a brown paper bag. The room was clean and comfortable but not worth what we paid.

The good - Nice mid village location, friendly staff, the bar and dining areas were warm and cosy and the food we had was good. The decor in the hall, stairs and landing was an interesting "faux" castle them that has been excellently hand painted. It's quirky and you will either love it or not but it is well done.... More

Well done to the chef, good food and well cooked roast dinner. Front of house was terrible, booked lunch for 1500 and branded "tail end Charlie's" to explain what wasn't available, waited for menu and just felt like we were interrupting someone else's day, mum and daughter left as no toilet roll, never offered a dessert menu until we were... Having read a few negative reviews prior to our visit, we were quite apprehensive about our visit. However, on our arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see how well the hotel looked externally and even more impressed externally. The work and detail that has gone into the decoration was great and we had room number 2 (the green room) which... More

Our meal was excellent an we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Louise was hard working an makes great espresso cocktails. We were a little worried about the breakfast having read previous... More

Had bad experience at this hotels restaurant last year. Decided to try again following good reports from friends who had dined there recently. Was not disappointed! Excellent Sunday roast and plenty of it. Enjoyed by myself and my family who had come to visit me.

Family run hotel was really welcoming to my girlfriend and I. Rooms were cosy, hotel decor was classy yet quirky, and we had a velux windows above our bed which we lay under and watched the stars. Dinner was absolutely amazing, with the most succulent chicken breast I've had since mums cooking. Omar was the legend who made sure all... More
