Myself, my husband and father came for a meal. When we entered the bar area it appeared to be run by a group of teenagers who completely ignored us when we entered. Finally a woman sitting having a drink on a bar stool said to us would you like some menus. Staff need to learn some customer care sills such...

This is the first time we had visited the Steamboat but I'm told it is now in new ownership. We met the couple who own the Inn and found them both to be both hospitable and very friendly. We had both lunch and dinner and both meals were of excellent quality and good portion size. Dogs are made very welcome...

The Steamboat Inn is a cozy pub in a small village. It's interior is filled with interesting artifacts and art from a stuffed gnu to parts of a church interior. It is warm and inviting with 2 fireplaces going in the fall and winter and a lovely ambiance. The people who work at the pub and hotel are exceedingly friendly,...

Had previously popped in for a drink and this time decided to stay when we were in the area. The room was nicely decorated and crisp and clean with comfortable bed. Lovely views from room and from bar and restaurant. Had a meal in the restaurant which was surprisingly busy considering its location. Food was very good would recommend and...

This is our second visit in a few months and people have always given high praise of the Steamboat. However the first time we visited we had to wait 1hour for starters and another 1hour 30mins for main course which is ridiculously slow. This time the visit was exactly the same with at least a 2 hour wait for main...

Two days and nights at the Steamboat Inn. What a wonderful experience.!! Excellent accommodation and the young Polish couple who run the Inn ensured everything was just perfect. The steak ordered at Dinner was equal to the best I have ever tasted and cooked exactly as I requested. My dining companions also rated the fish dishes exceptional. Would we return...

On first entering The Steamboat Inn the signs were good, pleasant quaint rooms which included to my delight some memorabilia from my home town, and a gentle hum of conversation around the place. We entered a room which was equipped for dining and found one other couple perusing the menu, so far so good. When we decided to have a...

We found the Steamboat Inn on an earlier trip year just after it had been taken over . We promised ourselves a long weekend in the new year. So glad we did. It was everything we knew it would be. The staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfasts were amazing and the the food served...
