If you are traveling by car and in Cambridge, this is the place you must stay at. Lovely super clean hotel with trouser press, and nice complimentary tea service in the room. Complimentary internet, and all the amenities of home. Super treat to hear the birds outside twittering away. So, so, so quiet and lovely. The restaurant has a beautiful...

Tried to book business colleagues into hotel but I unfortunately this time it was fully booked but I still booked in for evening meal as it is our go to country dining pub. Brilliant as always, good choice, friendly staff, good value. I expect it to be excellent and it doesn't ever disappoint.

Lovely service, great pub food, excellent pint of beer on a sunny autumn day. Just right to switch to happy mood on a Friday afternoon. Summary: family like friendly atmosphere in a well maintained old cottage with great pub food. Highly recommended...

Finally got to revisit my favourite restaurant. Food and welcome as good as ever. Slight price increase but food as tasty as ever. I adore the ambiance but you do need to book as there are often wakes held at lunchtime as I have visited at the last minute and been turned away several times. As a regular perhaps the...

Typical small village country pub. Decent selection of beer. Wide range of food, with daily specials board. Food prices a bit on the steep side but portions are large so fair enough. We were here for lunch so unable to say what it was like for evening meals etc.

Having stayed in many different hotels in Cambridge for business and pleasure I can safely say that this is a bed and breakfast. The room was small but clean and tidy(it is a long since time I have had blankets on a bed!) but very...

Ate here on a Monday evening in January. We had a table booked for 6.30 and the place was quite empty when we arrived and to be honest we felt a bit daft having booked however over the course of the evening, the place filled up. The menu here is extensive with specials available as well. The staff were all...

I travelled for work and stayed here for two nights. The accommodation was convenient, fairly priced and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good with a good choice on the menu. Will definitely stay again.

This review is a 3 year update from my last review, a lots seems to have changed since then. Much tastier menu and the staff are even more attentive. I came here for a Christmas lunch and a business lunch, great result every time, absolutely love the lemon cheesecake. Both ladies serving our table were lovely people and very helpful,...
