Good size room, everything very clean, very comfy bed. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, biscuits & bottled water. En-suite bathroom with shower. Evening meal & breakfast very good. Staff friendly & helpful. Good covid protocols in place, plenty wipes and sanitiser. Would recommend this hotel. Nice and central.
We went to the Station Hotel for a short sporting break . The staff , food etc was absolutely fantastic ( the food is really really good ) we loved it . The hotel is like another home and despite COVID the hotel did its best to make our stay enjoyable...... I’d have no hesitation booking this hotel again .......
I have stayed in the station hotel on/off for about 11 months with work. I could not have asked for a better place to stay whilst working away. Susan, Ewan and all staff were so lovely and helpful the whole stay! Rooms are ideal, and the food is excellent! Could not recommend the restaurant highly enough 😎. I’d like to thank all the staff for my time there! Until next time 👍🏼
I enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel.Quick check in, shown to room and informed of the covid protocols in place. Stayed in room 1 which overlooked Seafield street. Room was large , clean had blackout curtains on the window and a radiator. Ample storage space with a wardrobe with hangers and two chest of drawers. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Room had a flat screen television with free view channels. Hospitality tray of kettle, tea, coffee, milk , sugar and a bottle of water in the room. Folder in room about the hotel and surrounding area. En-suite bathroom with walk in shower.Shampoo dispenser in shower cabinet and liquid soap bottle on sink. Hairdryer in room and 5 spare plug sockets for electrical items. Sanitiser and wipe stations throughout the hotel. All staff confirmed to the covid guidelines. Enjoyed a tasty diner of pea soup and haddock in batter/ chips and peas. Breakfast was coffee, toast , a choice of cereals , fruit, yoghurt and cooked breakfast to order.Absolutely superb. Check was fast and no issues with bill. Can I suggest replacing the bottles of shampoo and liquid soap with shampoo sachets and small bar of soap for better covid compliance. As the hotel dates from 1850 there was a issue with gaps in door / door frame letting in the light from the stairs outside. Suggest a black out curtain rail over the room door. Overall fine place to stay , excellent hospitality and value for money.…
My wife stayed here when she was a wee girl a few years ago ( about 40), so we decided to have a short stay just after the hotel reopened after lockdown, as a trip down memory lane. We were not disappointed, greeted at check in by the owner , who was lovely and an excellent host both then and at at our evening dinner the first night. Very helpful . Food was excellent. And the weekend only improved . Breakfast made to order and excellent , we were well looked after by Sheila ( hope my memory is correct ) each morning, fresh tea and coffee topped up and lovely interaction with the guests , with some great suggestions of places to visit Rooms were clean , very comfy and well equipped . Food we could not fault on our 3 DBB night stay , nor the excellent service from the staff . Many thanks to all at the station Hotel . We will return…
