A recent stay at Newfield Hall on a HF Holiday was rewarded with excellent food, a great location, good accommodation and helpful, friendly staff. The main rooms are well laid out and spacious, whilst my bedroom was of a good size with en-suite facilities. All the staff were polite, helpful and efficient. The management team are definitely doing an excellent job...

A mid week stay in November was a pleasant surprise, the premium room was spacious and comfortable with good wifi acess. It was situated in the main part of the Victorian country house. The food in the hotel was plentiful and tasty, the staff very helpful. The dining room was nicely presented and dining at linen laid 10 person round...

We were met by the manager, welcomed and given our room number. Our cases were carried to the room and facilities demonstrated. This has obviously been a house of importance with an imposing grand entrance and hall. There are stables which have been converted into accommodation and there is a working farm behind those - obviously they would have all...

We arrived slightly early on a very wet day to begin our HF photography holiday. There was no reception at the hotel, so as we looked around for where best to go, we were “greeted” by the manager who told us to have a seat, they were just doing the "last minute bedroom checks"! No “welcome to Newfield Hall, we...

Newfield Hall is beautifully set in the middle of green pastures. The house offers rooms in the main building or in the converted stables. I had a lovely room with a private door from the court yard. The room was clean, bright and spacious, bed was very comfortable. The small bathroom was acceptable, but the water pressure in shower was...

We were visiting the local area to attend a wedding over the weekend. We booked the hotel on booking.com. The hotel is primarily for walkers/walking trips so is not what you would expect from a traditional hotel. That aside the hotel were very accommodating and arranged for us to have an early check in as we had a small baby....

Nice Holiday Fellowship hotel - totally geared up for walking holidays. Decent food and clean tidy bedrooms. No real grounds to mooch around but then you have the whole of Malhamdale!! Excellent walking location, of course.
