We arrived at the Buck Inn to a friendly welcome and shown to our room. No problems with the room at all well decorated and clean. Only downside was the table lamps which were not bright enough to enable one to read in comfort. Walk in shower was excellent but no handrail so beware if the floor is slippery. Our...

Karen, Steve, Shaun and Kathrine - the family that now own/run 'The Buck Inn' since August 2016, along with their lovely, hospitable staff, made our 2 nights stay fantastic and memorable! They put their heart and soul into giving their guest the best experience. Since taking over they have upgraded the Inn - we got to see all the rooms,...

We had a fantastic New Year's Eve party. Sue the manager did an excellent job in planning the whole evening. Food was very good and there were plenty of good quality raffle presents for many people. The music was fantastic and the DJ kept the mood going. I hope Sue does a party like this next year as I'll be...

Room in much need of refurbishment, not a space you could spend anytime in. We found it quite dark and depressing. Also looked a bit shoddy and shabby around the edges as did the rest of the hotel. Some much needed tlc required to lift this place to match its beautiful location. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts...

Stayed here just for a night and the staff were lovely. Room was recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. We stayed in room 3 and had a view of the beck it was beautiful. Breakfast was really nice and there's lots to choose from. Location is brilliant, middle of village. Really recommend this place.

Wow... The most beautiful, magical Christmas.... We came with our 2 doggies on the 23rd and stayed until Boxing Day. As we walked in we were greeted with beautiful scented candles, snuggly roaring log fire and a beautifully decorated escape away in the Yorkshire Dales. I can't express how amazing all the staff were, they treated us like friends and...

Visited the Buck Inn on Weds, 14 December having walked the Malham Tarn circular (5 miles). It was a beautiful sunny winters day, 10C. Unable to get a bus from Long Preston so my partner drove and we had a late lunch. The chicken supreme with sweet potato fries is the best ever.

We recently stayed at the Buck Inn at Malham for a weekend break. The Buck is a very comfortable and welcoming inn excellently situated in the centre of Malham, fantastic selection of real ales and good food. When we arrived back home we found we had left our iPad in the bedroom , we rang the Buck Inn who said...
