Nice cabins, great bed, good shower and amenities. Free Wifi in the Lobby-Restaurant area. Beautiful lake right next to the property. Used it as a base for our Buena Vista hiking trip. Highly recommended and a great value.

A number of wooden houses along a lake with ducks make up this resort. The rooms were not so big and had a funny wall compartment. They are also very cold since this is at 2000 meters. There is a small electric radiator which we forgot about. The beds are good and have three thick blankets (which is needed) apart from the sheets and bed cover. The restaurant serves a buffet, nothing exciting. The bar had a very nice artisan dark local beer, otherwise it's almost always Imperial or Pilsen.

Staff hardly english speaking. Hardly any choice in the restaurant, no written menu, 3 main dishes, 1 soup, 1 salad, 1 dessert. No info on possibilities in de surrounding of the hotel. 1 or 2 people present, act as waiter and receptionist at the same time. Bar has 1 red wine, do not do cocktails, no fresh juices.

We didn't stay in the accommodation, but did eat in the restaurant on three evenings and two lunchtimes. We were "refugees" from the Savegre hotel next door, where the food is indifferent and overpriced. The fixed price four course meal is great value at $14.00 and the food is freshly cooked and imaginative. Three of us are vegetarian and the chef/manager saw this as a challenge and came up with some lovely food. The service was friendly and the bar reasonably priced. A real gem

The very steep 10km winding road leading way down (1000m) to the hotel is the beginning of an unbelievable descent to a truly magnificent natural beauty in all its splendor. The cabins are beautifully decorated and very clean; it gets chilly at night but the hotel provides the rooms with several blankets and a small space electric heater. The paths from the hotel are easily accessible and of stunning beauty. The owner and the staff are extremely helpful, welcoming and professional. One inconvenience is that wifi does not reach the cabins, but is available at the restaurant. Loved our 2 day stay!!!
