My wife and myself spent two days at Ranchot Margot. At the start we were enchanted by the tour on the farm, and the enthousiasm of Aurelio. When discovering our bungalow however, it was not at all as beautiful as on the website, when touching...More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience of your stay in Rancho Margot. We unfortunately had a waterline break in the kitchen during a downpour on the morning you described and it took us two hours to clear the problem in the...More
We visited just the self-sustaining farm and had a tour by one of the guides. He was remarkably knowledgeable, passionate, and adorable. Had time permitted, we would have stayed for dinner but would have not stayed there as a hotel guest.

At the Ranch, we only did the tour so I cannot reposed to your meals questions. Hope this helps. The place is fabulous. I think our on site guide's name was Rodriquez. If that is correct and there is a man with that name there, request him. His passion and his ability to share his vast knowledge was truly amazing.

Nice outline of options above. We have been recommending Liberia airport as the main airport in - due to the activity of the Turrialba volcano this past year.
