My stay at the rapture camp costa rica was amazing! The place itself was beautiful, clean and exposed to a beautiful scenery. The provided meals were very tasty and healthy. The Wifi is very good which allows good online working. The people at the camp are very easy going. Traveling alone, I had no problem of being integrated very fast. The host Vincent was very nice and helpful. When in need he’ll organize transportation for you. The surfing lessons were very good as well. What helped me the most was the video analysis offered by the surf guide Pete who does a great job of helping you improve your skills. I had a great time and would definitely go back again !!

Guyys everybody come to rapture in costa rica avellanas!! The camp is beautiful, the surf is great, pool, good food; you have everything you need! Initially i would have stayed 3 weeks only but I extended two times because this place just feels like home now. What makes it the best surfcamp is that because of the camps perfect size you get to know everybody , guests, staff and manager super quick. Also the staff is so amazing!! Shoutout to Pete, Wawi, Luis, Vinc, Artem, Ilsia and Yammy for being open to all our needs and always taking good care of us. I celebrated my birthday here, got cake and lots of love by the staff. The location is perfect, the 10 minute walk to the beach is so enjoyable and you get some extra exercise, so you cant even be mad. The beach is beautiful and most important the waves are great for all levels of surfers. Surf lessons with the head teacher Julio helped me progress so much and I always had a great time in the water. Everybody get some lessons from Avellanas Soul! This place is everything i hoped for, i have literally zero complaints and im already exited to come back here!! 12 out of 10 stars<3

From management to location to surf board choice, this Hostel has it all. You can go surf at the amazing Avellanas beach, perfect for all levels, have a cool coconut by the pool or just hang out in the common area. Since the hostel is quite small, all the guest get to know the manager, the surf guide, the employees and each other really well. Great vibes are a given and it never gets boring. In contrast to other hostels, the amazing manager Vincent together with his Mom Wawi are very involved in the daily hostel-life and make everyone feel like they are included. The local and international staff are the sweetest people and really take care of your every need. I’m a 100% sure that I will come back again and again. If you are looking for an amazing surf hostel in Costa Rica, take a look at Rapture!!!

I have had the incredible opportunity to stay at the camp for almost three months while I work remotely. I initially reached out to Luis to check that the wifi was strong enough for the high-bandwidth demands of my work. From the moment I connected with him before arriving and throughout my entire stay, he has gone above and beyond to be sure everything is perfect, both for work and for fun and his amazing staff has done the same. Working from the camp: I have stayed in one of the charming villas with a balcony overlooking the jungle. In it, Luis set up a desk and charging cable and the internet has been better than my Manhattan apartment! As a bonus, while on calls, I am often entertained by iguanas and monkeys out the window. The camp is close enough to the beach and there are enough options with breaks working at different tides, that I am often able to surf both before and after work and occasionally on a lunch break as well. I couldn’t imagine a better work-surf set up. Surfing: Pete the surf guide has helped me to tackle fears in the water and with his guidance, both in and out of the waves, my surf has improved significantly. His charming personality keeps everything light hearted and fun. Not only is he dedicated to helping guests enjoy themselves and become better surfers, but also, he provides detailed lessons on everything from reading the surf report, to repairing boards, to scientific wave/wind analysis, to personalized surf and board advice. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Rapture and highly recommend it both for remote work and for vacation.

The Rapture Camp is a 5-star experience! From the food to the views, it captures the quintessential costa Rican "Pura Vida" vibe. Be prepared to be greeted by a friendly staff (including 2 fur friends), dine on delicious cuisine, Zen out in breathtaking jungle bungalows, and observe the most exquisite sunsets. Anysurf-related inquiries are smoothly managed by British surf boarder aficionado, Pilot Peter. So pack your swimsuit and prepare for epic surf. Refresh, rejuvenate, and give your soul something to sip on at the idyllic jungle retreat, Rapture surf camp.
