We stayed here two nights in december and were the only ones there. We slept in the dorm and was a nice dorm with good mosquitonets. The toilets were ok, but lots of ants, so you had to be fast ;). Shower was cold, but good pressure. The staff really annoyed us. We were the only there and they were...

We were seduced by the effusive description in the Lonely Planet guide so our expectations were high, especially as the price was only 5RM less than we paid for a hotel with a swimming pool and really good buffet breakfasts and dinners included on this trip. The owners are splitting the hotel property from the adjacent deer park, which they...

We stayed in the cabins for 2 nights, place is really close to the nature so keep your mosquito repellent with you. Jungle is right there, it's a bit isolated but shouldn't be an issue if you have a car. Prices for food are reasonable, it's quite close to all the must sees - sunbear, orangutan, proboscis conservatories. Clean and...

This review is about the cabins so may differ from the dormitory experience. We had a great stay, the hilltop cabins are great and take you right close to nature, maybe to close for some? The views are amazing either from the balconies or the open air shower room! The food is limited but good quality and very reasonable. The...

No aircon..but fans quite good....the teachers area had a balcony and outdoor kitchen area which was great for a bit of down time and viewing local wildlife. Food good...although breakfasts not great ( after 5 days...

We arrived early and asked to leave our bags there while we went off to visit a few places. The welcome was less than warm. On our return we were showed to our sauna. Yes, the view is lovely, but the aircon and the fan showed less interest in our arrival than the staff. The bed was very comfortable. The...

This place is located in a great spot and the whole idea isn't bad, but there is no atmosphere, no cushions on wooden chairs and longchairs, no colors, no music and no wifi. I do understand we are in the jungle but when you charge as much as you do,a bit of attention to details should be paid. no towel...

This was my second stay at Paganakan Dii. As soon as my sister and friend said they wanted to visit Sabah, I knew I had to find time to stay here. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. The open bathroom is an experience: you look straight out onto the jungle while showering. The cabins also have a...

Amazing cabins, quite basic but they had a huge comfy bed and bunks for the kids with mosquito nets, an open air shower and bathroom (with modesty netting) so you can see the beautiful view, and sliding walls so you can lie in bed and feel like you're in the rainforest!! The staff are really friendly and happy, and were...
