Don't believe any of the poor reviews- this place was everything I expected it to be. An oasis of calm on the jungle. I loved the cold outdoor showers- the rustic cabins( no mozzies hot in mine I can tell you as we were sensible with windows and air con)- the good was great- particularly loved the casual help yourself...

This is located just around the corner from the orangutan and sunbear rehabilitation centres and very close to the discovery centre. The staff are really helpful and friendly, arranging for a variety of trips for us while we were there. We had a standard chalet, which was very comfortable, with good air conditioning and was cleaned every day (it even...

After booking everything last minute I had no other choice but to stay in the Longhouse B&B, and not my own room! Not really having done hostels before, and being a solo traveller in my mid 30's, I was nervous, but that eventually dissapated when I got here. Forest Edge Resort is about a 10 minute walk away from the...

We had a wonderful 3 nights here with our two children, ages 10 & 13. It was accommodating to families, singles, young, and old. It's a great location, incredibly affordable and relaxing. The staff was incredibly helpful, funny, and accommodating. Nicky, in the restaurant, was so much fun and had a fantastic sense of humor. The food is excellent and...

We did not book this hotel as it was part of a tour organised through Rustic Borneo. The grounds are lovely and it is a peaceful place. The first room we had the door wouldnt lock and the air conditioner leaked on my husbands bag..no TV either...we were moved to another room that also had a TV. We had no...

My friend and I stayed here in March 2016 as part of our nature tour of South East Asia. The positives: The resort is ideally located within easy walking distance of the Sun Bear Sanctuary and the Orangutan Sanctuary, and a short drive away by taxi (that the resort front desk can book for you) from the Proboscis Monkey Feeding...

The resort has also dorms for small money. We stayed there and had some of the comfortable beds in the 8 bed dorm. The rooms are cooled with fans but that was enough. The area of the resort is nice with lots of nature, a small pool and a private half our jungle trail. You get also welcome drinks and...

We stayed there for a couple of days in the dorm room, really nice and clean. The dining hall was really nice, like the entire location. Staff was really friendly. The swimming pool is a bit too small and the food is average. I would recommend this place to nature lovers, is possible to bird watch and have a small...

We stayed in a family chalet for 2 nights and yes it was a walk to the main area and pool but it was all part of the experience!! The chalet itself is basic, the bed was comfortable, decent air con and a fan, tea and coffee, bottled water, shower over bath which was great with kids, tv. No wifi...
