We stayed here for e few days during a hiking trip. Room was nice. Breakfast was ok. Staff tried to be helpful. However dinner did not meet expectations. We were the only guests and felt rushed. Food felt like it had been prepared and re- heated. Real shame as this could be a lovely hotel in a beautiful location.

This was our second visit to Poldo, again with a group of friends, and it remains a very special place. Located in the Pyrenees with amazing walks all around, we loved the swimming pool each afternoon - the perfect end to our day of walking. We enjoyed great breakfasts and delicious dinners. The warmth of welcome and genuine hospitality means... More

We stopped here for lunch during local sightseeing and were treated to delicious mushroom soup, chicken, deer and sausages and a refreshing lemon sorbet. Delicious local wine accompanied the meal and fortified us for the afternoon's adventures.

Was recommended to us by a freind, this was a wounderfull experiance. The owners are two wounderfull sisters. The food was exquisite, we had special dietary requirements for our little daughter and they were more than pleased to prepare something special for her every morning and evening. It is close to all activities, rafting, canyoning and National park. Would recommend... More

I fully recommend this Hotel. I have been for a weekend with my wife and it was incredible. Very quite and warm. The people is very friendly and attentive. Also the restaurant is fantastic, very good quality and prices very reasonable. The swimming pool and the garden are very pleasant, a fantastic place for relax.

I stayed for six nights at the end of August as part of a walking group. The hotel was most welcoming and comfortable. The food was very good - inventive and varied, and tasting like real home cooking rather than standard international restaurant fare. It was exactly the kind of family hotel that my group was looking for.

After spending the best part of a week camping and walking through the Pyrenees, our last night before returning to Barcelona was spent at Hotel Poldo. We were the only overnight guests staying and no time, effort or quality was spared for the extent of our short stay. The room was fantastic and the restaurant (both for dinner and the... More

We stopped at Hotel Poldo for lunch, drawn in by the attractive outdoor terrace restaurant. In fact, it was the only attractive stopping place we encountered on this 20 plus stretch of road. The meal was good and the menu inventive. One of us had a very nice fois gras amd smoked duck salad while the other had stewed snail... More

This review is for the restaurant, so ignore the room rating.
