This splendid and warm XVI century building, ancient University of Santa Catalina with its original plateresque facade and its Renaissance cloister, is the first real hostel 4 star in Castilla y Leon. The hotel has 70 rooms, cafeteria, restaurant, play room for children, Internet area, meeting rooms and banqueting rooms as well as indoor swimming-pool. It also has a thermal area under its Renaissance courtyard of around 1500m, with thermal pools, contrasts circuit and thermal treatments areas as usual in the hotels of the Castilla Termal chain. A magic place, having facilities and services of high quality ideal to relax, take care, do corporate events and personal celebrations. Charming corners ready to seduce you and the most advanced techniques applied to thermal treatments. An environment created to enjoy and relax. The hotel life has centred on its beautiful Renaissance courtyard enclosed by a glass dome and where the social life of the hotel takes place. Under the central courtyard are located the two floors of the spa, the play pool and the contrast circuit.

Clearly the hotel was doing everything it could to maintain a safe place to stay and we did feel safe. We had a huge room to accommodate 2 adults and a child. The beds were ultra comfortable and we had great shower pressure. The building is very old (15th century) but very well kept inside. Underground parking was a must and a very reasonable 7€ a night. The town of Burgo de Osma is lovely but seemed to lack restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel had great food but service was very disorganized. Overall I’d be happy to stay here again. I’m sure my experience would be even better without safety restrictions.

quadrangle building with glass-roofed atrium. breakfast in the atrium. average. rooms lovely but no coffee-making kit. Parking limited in front but extra parking in basement garage provided your car is less than 1.9 m.In the basement is a strange thermal spa that was crowded. There is another spa area which is the one shown on the brochure but it's for those who pay the extra, not the residents. Absolutely beautiful town across the road. Old buildings and cathedral walled town. Well worth the visit.

This was a beautiful hotel; really interesting architecture - combo of old and new. My room was really well equipped and comfortable; the food was great; and the staff were really pleasant and helpful (I had some travel/transport issues unrelated to the hotel, and the reception/management couldn't have been more helpful in getting me sorted out. I didn't use the spa (not my thing) but it looked pretty impressive. Would definitely return.

So pretty and nice. Everything was clean and just the way you like it. Good breakfast - The Spanish way. Lovely rooms. Calm. Great spa. We used parking on the street close to the hotel. (big hard pillows, but you can get softer ones) We tried to order cocktails, but was impossible, and was the same around the city. So apparently they don't do cocktails in burgo-de-osma.

Wonderful hotel, incredible renaissence building rehabilitated. Nice room but they have to improve the air condioner system to avoid high humidity levels in the rooms. Good cleaning services and lobby staff. If they had some information about the historic town, excursions, car shearing services for guests from abroad, it would be perfect. The best thermal experience : the thermal Circuit. Close to the bus station , well connected with Madrid and Soria. Burgo de osma , is a wonderful and historic town to visit, founded in 1101 ad. The cathedral , well kept medieval wall, hospital, seminar , nice square and typical Castilian streets They have some monasteries and a nice river walk. Osma is the nearest town with a magnificent castle(in rehabilitation) and a curious communication tower, connected with eleven towers more.
