Our trip to Kwara was part of a 6 day booking via Kingfisher Safaris (UK) with the Kwando group (The other destination was Lagoon Camp, Linyanti) - 3 days in each camp. The decision was made based on these 2 places offering excellent wildlife viewing in the 'green' season and escaping the British Winter. We weren't disappointed with the wildlife...

The staff were so welcoming and gracious. Our accommodations were so tastefully and carefully thought out. The small details made our stay so enjoyable like the personal hand-written notes at both our arrival and department.

Kwara Camp is not just a great accomodation, not just a safari, not just meeting point of interesting and lovely people, not just offering you the feeling that you are a real "bushman" right next to the elephants, giraffes, lions, etc. No, Kwara Camp gives you an amazing experience melting all these elements into one unforgettable adventure.

I spent 3 nights at Kwara camp at the beginning of December. The camp is very pleasant, with tented rooms on stilts and decks facing the lagoon, where you can relax between game drives and enjoy a beautiful view with abundant wildlife all around. The rooms are nice and comfortable (although a bit less luxurious than in the other Kwando...

A lakeside setting with plenty of animals close by. Excellent staff and good food. A very remote setting with generator so minimal electricity. Great game viewing and very knowledgeable and professional guides. Thank you everyone.

If you're not looking to spent the big $$$ on a tented camp this is an excellent option The game drives are impressive. Lots to see especially the lions and cheetahs. Special thanks to our guide Thomas for making the drives a pleasure Yes the tents are a bit rustic but they are certainly more than satisfactory. My biggest complaint...

such a great location, abundance of sitings, and wonderful staff. Very natural setting in the delta and many cat encounters. The guide(Joe) combined with the spotter(KB) were an amazing team to watch. It was abnormally hot(+40c in the shade).
