Extremely nice and kind staff, very clean bungalows set in a beautiful garden surrounding. The coral reef is really just in front. The little beach is not that nice though, but there are plenty of hammocks etc to hang out in the garden. Food is pretty good though nothing spectacular. We went off season though, when it was very empty...

We have planned to stay here for around 7 days but we left earlier since my wife could not bear the very basic environment any further. A request for the W-Lan key was denied in a very unfriendly way. If you are looking for a backpacker type of holiday its probably the right spot.

Located on Estrella Beach, this new resort propose room with air con or fan. The room are big and clean, with private bathroom and have terrace on front beach. The owners are very nice. This wonderful and romantic place is not so far of the main street in Santa Fee.

We just came back from the 4 nights stay at the resort. We were very happy to have chosen the place and will definitely go back again. The staff were very friendly which accounted a lot for our enjoyable stay. They remembered us by names and our preferences on meals. There were families with small children at the time and...

We stayed at La Estrella for 4 nights in February. The island of Cabilao is a gem and popular for diving. Diving and snorkelling were both very good and the dive centre linked to La Estrella is well run. There are approx. 17 huts in the resort, they are concrete construction but clad in nipa, so they are very practical...

I am struggling to understand the very negative review by sfard who stayed on 5th January. We arrived 8th January & stayed 9 nights. There wasnever any loud music in the bar area - most nights everyone had gone to bed by 9.30/10! We understand there was a party in the village one night but i gather the owners have...

Don't go there if you are not a diver cause there is no nice beach on the island. The cottage is basic but clean. There is no hot water. At the time of our visit there were a lot of annoying flies. The food is nothing special. Now they have electricity until 5 a.m. This means that the bar can...

I spent 10 days at La Estrella Beach Resort with my family. The location is wonderful, the resort is nice, clean and offering a lot of services with a smile. Exquisite food and reasonable prices. What more?

I had been living in the Philippines for nearly a year when I decided to travel to Bohol on my own. From tripadvisor I learned about the resort called "La Estrella" and reading how it is located on an island distant from the city centers it struck goal. I took a flight to Cebu and then the ferry to Bohol...

My husband, seven-year-old son, and I spent eight lovely nights at La Estrella over Christmas. My husband first visited the resort 12 years ago and has always wanted to come back. More than a decade later, the resort has moved to an adjoining site, expanded and modernised, but has retained the same welcoming spirit that made such an indelible impression...
