My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night on 18th November for a short getaway to the Yorkshire Dales. Where to start?! This place is simply superb! Sheila and Robert were excellent hosts and very attentive to everyone's needs and were more than accommodating with our late arrival due to bad weather. They greeted us with a choice of...

After a days walking it was great to arrive to a friendly welcome with tea and cake. A very comfortable room and drying facilities for clothes and boots. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of locally sourced ingredients. Cambridge House goes the extra mile to set itself above other B&Bs and succeeds. Highly recommended.

Welcomed like old friends!! When we arrived we were given tea & cake..much needed after a long, wet walk. Beautiful B&B in such a beautiful little truly English town. The conversation around the breakfast table was a highlight...sharing stories is a great part of the C2C experience. Thankyou Robert & Sheila 😊

We stopped off at Cambridge House whilst doing the Coast to Coast walk and found Robert and Sheila to be the perfect hosts. Our room was superb, as was the breakfast. They didn't blink when we asked if they could wash a week's worth of dirty walking kit, and Robert recommended a great pub to visit for dinner. I couldn't...

Loved this place. The rooms were large and airy and we had a full bath tub with great water pressure for shower. Lovely view from bathroom window to a hillside of bunnies! The amenities in room were first class and the welcome was warm. Short walk to dinner down the road.
