My wife and I stayed in this beautiful real gem of a B&B. The owners and hosts make you feel so welcome in their lovely old world home. Fabulous breakfast all the creation of the excellent owner and chef, Brendan. Lovely to stay with such nice hosts who gave us lots of kno about the local area. This was our first visit to Courtmcsherry , we will dinitely return to this lovely village and will certainly book to stay here again. We highly recommend the homemade breads and jams etc. A real delight. Thank you so much Brendan and Richard.
Location staff facilities all amazing Love the whole setup of this place ,great garden area overlooking the water ,room was bright and bed was excellent ,the staff are brilliant Would definitely stay again
We called here today and it was just lovey. The food and staff were great and the four of us had a great time, and the garden overlooking the sea is beautiful. During this Covid -19 time, when we all have to eat outside, travara Lodge have done a great job. We defently be visiting again, when you visit Courtmacsherry.
Very friendly owners and really obliging. My son left his favourite sweater across the street from Travara Lodge and Brendan was so kind to post us the item. Thank you Brendan for offering, My son was thrilled!
We were 3 tourists staying in Timoleague. We stopped for lunch at this attractive waterfront restaurant. The server/manager asked if we were Americans and when we said yes he said "that's too bad". He then proceeded to take our order and when he served our food he said " he should have spit in our food". A very respectable Irish lady at the next table shushed him and said "that's enough" because he was continually using foul language. This was the only really bad experience we had in our 3 weeks in Ireland.
