The owners of the Trewythen Hotel weren't on site. We had to call them to get into the building since they also run the Unicorn Hotel, which is on another street in Llanidloes. There was a dead potted plant on the stair landing & one day laundry bags were sitting in the entry way, awaiting to be picked up. Our... More

Very Nice hotel. clean and tidy rooms. No bar though otherwise I'd give it a 5/5 rating. Friendly staff and parking right outside. Very close to some great restaurants as well. Can't say enough about it.

We had the family room here, which was a good room for a family. The hotel had just experienced a leak, so the breakfast room was moved and the wifi was out, but the room was nice otherwise. We were on a top floor and the hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. We... More

Cosy and comfortable hotel in a lovely village. We were welcomed by one of the owners, a very kind lady. Breakfast was served at the time we wanted and we were even offered to choose among a variety of warm dishes.

I stayed at the Trewythen Hotel over night and was quite impressed with its value for money. Admittedly, I was a little unsure when I first arrived. Parking is a little limited and I found the hotel locked. However, a quick phone call to a number provided on the entrance had me booked in. My room was large, very clean... More

Stayed here for one night. Large comfortable rooms, decent wifi, nice location in the centre of this pretty mid-Wales town. The only small negative is the breakfast we had wasn't the best (good in quantity, but felt it was slightly overcooked). This is only a minor criticism though. I would stay here again.

My colleagues were running 187 miles from North Wales to South Wales for our charity and we stayed at this lovely hotel for one night. Glyn was most helpful and in fact let us have the run of his hotel while he was at a family party. Very clean, Comfortable, friendly, huge rooms . Definitely would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a Saturday night and had a double room with ensuite shower facilities on the first floor. A friend had a single room on the same floor. The immediate impression as you enter the house is that this is a building of some history and character, augmented by fully up to date interior refurbishment. The handsome staircase is... More

Stayed 11th November while visiting the Welsh Rally GB. We had read previous reviews and wasn't expecting the exceptional service that was provided for with reasonable prices. We paid just a little more for this the following two nights which wasn't very comfortable or that clean and no breakfast included. We had the four poster room which was large, comfortable... More
