#3 of 4 hotels in Icici
HOTEL VILLASCHUBERT "Hotel Villa Schubert" was built as a part of Austro-Hungarian architecture at the end of nineteenth century. It operated under the name "Hotel Ika" for the last fifty years but recently its original name has been restored, "Schubert", soul and splendour of the old Empire. Blended with surroundings and the see stands in a small fishing village-Ika , heart of Kvarner Riviera. Connected to the famous Emperor Franz Joseph promenade, between waves and sun, intimate luxury and gastronomic art. Hotel is of family type with seventeen air-conditioned freshly renovated rooms, free internet and parking space. Beautiful fine gravel beach in front of the hotel, excellent coffee and cake at the beach bar or an intimate dinner in our restaurant "Bellevue", one of the largest pearls of Opatija Riviera gastronomy , are the most common reasons mentioned by our loyal guests. The exceptional position of the hotel and individual access to guests, offers a wide selection of activities to fulfil your free time in the area .

We booked at the last minute as the sun was going down and I didn't feel like driving another hour in the dark to get to Rovinj. We paid the extra for a room over looking the sea and it was so worth it -- full moon and moonlit water was dreamy. In the morning the desk manager was so nice. She let us do a late check out so we could sunbathe and swim (or attempt to!) at the beach in front of the hotel. Then she gave us a recommendation for her favorite "secret" beach en route to Rovinj, and we absolutely loved the beach, village and food at the cafe. You were right Ana, it was really special! Thanks so much from Kate and Robert

The owner of hotel doesn’t allow to enter into the sea with your own Paddle Board!!! 😡 The beach is not his property and there is no legal prohibition to use the SUP!!! very rude approach with clients!!

We had breakfast at this place. The terrace has a nice and unobstructed seaview. Even though it was a bit late for breakfast, the waiter composed a breakfast especially for us. The food was terrific. We would definetely recommend this place.

One of the best settings in this area for dinner. Food is very fresh and carries on the local theme but is done with a twist and a quality not found in many other local restaurants. The setting in Ika bay cannot be beaten Shane they changed their name to the Germanic sounding 'Villa Schubert'. Hotel Ika was far more understated and less pretentious.

I give three points because of the location. It is amazing position, actualy on the beach. I realy like the fragrance of the sea and sound of the waves. The servis was proffessional and exellent. Daniel was also very proffessional when we complain about the food. The mussels was double, triple soultet and the wine in which was mussels too. The moussels was small and dry. Other food was average. If I would value only the mussels would give one points, the location five points and the servis also five points.
