This is a beautiful hotel to treat yourself to in a beautiful Cotswold village. From the website pictures you can see that the exterior is mellow stone, the gardens well looked after, and the decor tasteful. The rooms are named after places and trees; we stayed in Cedar in the beautifully converted carriage block, and it definitely had the wow...

Great staff, lovely atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely and perfect for a weekend getaway - we stayed for the weekend for a romantc couples getaway and it was perfect. The village is also beautiful - highly recommend.

Great stay at the The Slaughters. A lovely Cotswold village. Hotel is very good and service is excellent. Great room and very good sized room and bathroom. Food is very good quality although the dinner was very small and I was still hungry. Breakfast was great with a traditional English . Take a short walk round the corner to the...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for 1 night. Everything was prefect. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was beautiful. But to top it all was the meal we had. We have eaten in some fantastic restaurants in various countries, but I can't remember enjoying a meal as much as I...

My partner surprised me for valentines and we had the most gorgeous room, amazing large marble bathroom. I cant say enough how incredible our stay was, we only stayed for one night but we loved every second of it, I stay in at least 3/4 hotels a year and this is by far the best! The staff were lovely, the...

We stayed at The Slaughters Manor House for one Saturday night for my birthday. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant - this review includes the latter as the restaurant is reviewed alone. Pluses: - Really in the country in a lovely little village near the equally lovely Burford. Lots of nice walks nearby. - The rooms have...

This is a good hotel. Usually a solid 4 and some elements of a 5 but I have rated it a 3 due to the bed - just too soft and we had a very disturbed night. I know some people prefer a soft bed but this is the softest I have ever had in a hotel and resulted in...
