Staff brilliant. Food excellent. Room fantastic. Booked an overnight break as needed some down time and this certainly hit the spot. Everything just went so well and we feel much better for the experience. Would certainly recommend.

We've just spent an enjoyable afternoon, evening meal, overnight stay & breakfast with friends at this beautiful hotel. Set in stunning & immaculate grounds in a peaceful location not far from the A12. Our booking offer included afternoon tea & the scones were delicious. We then rested in our very spacious & comfortable room before getting ready for dinner. The...

This was my first visit to the restaurant for afternoon tea. I had great expectations as many of my friends had already visited and loved the place. There is no advance booking here, which was a bit of an issue as we were a party of 6. The restaurant was full, as was the lounge area, so we sat on...

Difficult to find a flaw in this place. Excellent location, countryside feel yet very close to Ipswich and A12. Nice atmosphere and feel, excellent customer service all round with a good spirit of generosity; not the feeling that you are going to have to pay for every little perk (free mini bar, sky, breakfast extras etc.) Our room was well...

Lovely setting, with cosy sofas to relax on. Tea is refillable! They catered to my taste as I don't like certain fillings in sandwiches and could accommodate. They even offer gluten free. Delicious selection of cakes which do change as I've been before. The scones, which are the highlight for me, are large and include clotted cream and jam. Delicious.

Spent a long weekend here with my boyfriend. Room was lovely, bed was huge and felt rather private. Visited restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both times were very tasty with good portion sizes. Will definitely like to visit again soon and take advantage of there offers.

Good bed, duvet and decorations. Rooms have a nice feel to them. Soft drinks in the room are included in the price. Staff are polite and friendly. The breakfast menu is good as is the dinner menu. There aren't that many rooms so you need to book quickly.

10 of us celebrated Valentine's here at Kesgrave Hall - held in The Hanger. Beautifully decorated, excellent dinner (always served piping hot ) and good music for dancing. Enjoyed by all. The service is always excellent too.

There are many nice things about this hotel. It is very comfortable and clean. The staff are very good; efficient and attentive, although reception is a little hit and miss. The food is excellent and the menu provides plenty of choice. The lounge has big sofas which means that sometimes you will share an area with other guests, this encourages conversation...

A superb joint venture between Milsom Hotels and Hills Group. The bistro restaurant has everything you would expect, inventive food alongside classics such as the delightful fish and chips, a buzzing but relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service from a friendly and professional team. Although you cannot book at Kesgrave Hall it is open all day! So you can arrive when you choose. The 'stay' part of eat, drink, stay (our milsoms mantra!) Could not be any more enjoyable. The Principal suites, whilst lavish and grand, are competitively priced and all bedrooms are beautifully designed and fully equipped with the very latest TVs and MP3 players.
