Travellers' Choice
Tenuta Quintino is an old farmhouse, cleverly and lovingly restored in respect to ancient forms with the use of ancient techniques and old materials, has been destined since 2003 to agritourism. It is located between Torre Lapillo e Punta Prosciutto, where there is a greater concentration of beaches with very fine sand and crystal clear sea, and many bathing establishments where make this area one of the most beautiful salentine locations. The property offers free parking and a wifi connection, a great restaurant where you can enjoy refined local dishes. The rooms, while keeping faithful to the ancient farmhouse, are finely furnished and equipped with all the comforts, and come with air conditioning, private bathroom. The estate, with its gardens and swimming pool only for ornamental use, as well as with its fascinating fittings and fine cuisine, is today an upbeat location for refined wedding in Salento and not only, and also suitable for those who want Spend a short or long vacation Codice Identificativo Struttura LE07509751000017644

I’m way late with this review, but this Masseria made our stay in Punta Proscuitto . While it’s not on he beach, it’s well worth the short drive. The breakfast, with some local ingredients, suited everyone’s tastes, including our 2.5 year old (at the time), and even had fresh fruit options for our 10 month old. We had one snafu at checkout regarding a charge for our baby, but the staff were very quick to rectify it. I’m actually scared to tell people to go to this area of Italy and to this area of Puglia, as it is so beautiful, and unspoilt by heavy tourism. The beach is like none other that I’ve seen, and is perfect for small children. This was by far such an incredible trip for our family. We look forward to returning to Salento and Punta Proscuitto.

It's well known that Italian hotels aren't to the same standard as others in Europe - at least for the same price. They all have a feel of a bygone era about them - which can be quite charming, if you like old furniture, linen from a bygone era and some modern luxuries bolted on to tick a box. First things first, the staff here were attentive and very friendly (be warned, no English spoken at the hotel, not a problem for us (Italian speakers) but may be off putting to some. Most of the guests here were fellow Italians, rather than international. The location is excellent - less than 1km or so to some great beaches in Torre Lapillo. Breakfast (free) is basic but does the job - fruit, italian breakfast cakes etc. Where we were disappointed was the room. It was basic, outdated linen, old furniture (not in a charming way) and shower was just - strange. Wifi was barely functional, which was a nuisance. We couldn't find help on a number of times, seems the staff numbers are kept lean (which is fine and understandable, but not much help when you have a question). I'd recommend this hotel if you're happy with 3* lodgings, are comfortable with speaking Italian and don't intend on using it far beyond a place to sleep.

Room Tip: Be warned that the air conditioning (needed in the summer) causes all the dust from the brickwork...

Enjoyed an outstanding vacation at this resort. We felt like we had gone back to the 16th century but had modern conveniences such as tv, air conditioning and wi fi. The food was excellent and the service was professional and friendly. It was also convenient to many beautiful towns and beaches! Thank you to the owners , Rosalea and Antonio. My family and I hope to return again!!
