#1 of 4 hotels in Kerteminde
Travellers' Choice
Tornoes Hotel is one of the few properties in Kerteminde where the owners have been known for the last 300 years. In the 17th century it was a grocery store. In 1862 Wentzel Tornoe bought the property and in 1865 he was granted citizenship. Tornoes Hotel is a reality. On October 1, 1986, Charlotte Frandsen and Morten Birkerod take over the Tornoes Hotel. Over the years, the hotel has been renovated to make it look like a beautifully maintained old hotel with a restaurant, 59 rooms, banqueting rooms and several meeting rooms. As the only hotel in Denmark, Tornoes Hotel has its own brewery "Kerteminde Bryghus".

Everyone will enjoy this cosy, good quality hotel. Right in the center of Kerteminde. Walking distance, to the harbour, shops , cafe,s etc. Really good food, and service. As i am a little handicapped, our rooms were exchanged, so I could use the elevator. A very nice, cosy room. With a modern bathroom. We will certainly come again, many thanks too all.

The hotel offered the perfect setting for a family reunion (three couples). Quiet comfortable rooms, good food (the breakfast buffet alone is worth it), and a generally cozy atmosphere. And the nearby Johannes Larsen Museum is a must - as is a walk around town. A fond memory.

Cosy and stylish old hotel in the centre of town. Service-minded staff. The hotel and restaurant is deservedly poular, so book both in advance! The hotel has two private parking sites, and there is a public free parking nearby.

An old hotel with a great location by the habour of Kerteminde. Rooms are clean and spaceous. They have what you need, but not a lot more. Perhaps missing a little in character. Service is fine. Breakfast is very classic Danish countryside, with light bread and not much that allows you to chose More green and healthy breakfasts. But good value for money for an overnight stay.
